Description
Elliot and the Musical Journey is a 3D platformer. You play as Elliot and your task is to collect 10 musical notes, free gnomes, and defeat the skeleton bosses in every level. For the final boss, you'll have to collect 20 musical notes instead. Don't let the game fool you, despite its childish appearance, it can actually get really hard at times.
Linux
The intro and ending videos did not play, even when using Proton GE 10-15. So, I kind of missed out on the story a little bit. Other than that, the game plays just fine.
Duration
I completed the game in 55 minutes.
Achievements
You can 100% the game by simply completing it.
Motion Sickness
I got motion sickness from playing this game, so if you're like me, watch out for that.
Conclusion
All in all, it's not bad for a student project. I would give them an A for this one.
Short and simple that's not too hard. Controls can be a while to use to. Could use some proper invincibility frames and maybe rework that 9 pad puzzle cause I used a guide to solve it. Overall, average in a good way
Had to Vomit from the Music, so I had to turn on my own (s3rl) Disapearing Blocks cannot be used to jump off of them to escape ?! Hits from Enemys remove 1 jump charge thus leading to death?! Also hitboxes are off in the measure of 3 of my characters to be added ?! No Savepoint ?! Creator Surely goes to Hell for making games difficult to play.

The textures on elliot are a little off when compared in some of his surroundings and movement feels kind of stiff and my biggest issue is... the piano bridges I mean come on your missing a few keys. This game is perfectly fine and is fun but if I where the game dev i'd update it so we at least can change the mouse sensitivity in game and also add more achievements and maybe add some more animations but those are just my current thoughts
