About
Electoral Carnage is a 2D fighting game featuring American Presidents. The game has an emphasis on comedy, movement, and easy to learn, hard to master gameplay.
From the historical, to the offensive, to the intentionally stupid, every fighter has been blessed with an absurd, balls to the walls super move that will have you and all your friends laughing.
Since every super one-shots your opponent, Electoral Carnage is a game about getting your super and landing it first, leading to lightning fast gameplay and quick salty rematches.
As lifelong fighting game fans, we've pulled inspiration from fighting games across genres to give each character unique and deeply expressive movement. Dash dance with Obama, air-assault with Teddy Roosevelt, and wavedash with JFK!
Our game has no combos. Instead, after landing a hit, you'll be thrust back into neutral, reemphasizing your movement and giving your one-shot supers even more impact. The unique gameplay loop allows for a fighting game that aims to bridge the gap between competitive and casual players; allowing the sweats to grind out stylish movement tech, but inevitably letting the noobs win a game or two with a lucky super.

Peak gameplay jfk needs to be nerfed
the game is very fun for the state its currently in. very fun but short fights, and really interesting gameplay. overall, its very fun. but i do have some issues. the online is very buggy, but it is in beta so thats understandable. some more movement mechanics or even a block would be nice. the supers 1 shotting is a fun and interesting mechanic, but it would be cool if there was actually a way to defend against it. once an animation starts, it locks you inplace regardless of if you were jumping or dashing before it happened. and Lincoln's is far to over powered, its almost impossible to avoid. it genuinely takes up half the screen. the knockback on hits happening regardless of if its needed is kind of annoying, i understand an upclose hit giving you knockback, but hitting an opponent with a projectile from cross map also giving knock back is kind of annoying. it almost completely prevents rush downs and potential for actual skill growth. in conclusion, the game overall is fun and has a lot of potential, but also has a few short comings, and room to grow.
