Eclipse Edge of Light

If you liked Form or Twilight Path, you'll probably like this. The story and visuals were neat and the puzzles were relatively simple. Walking could be faster and the English could use some touch ups, but nothing threw me.

This is the slowest game I've played in months. The story is so underdeveloped that I swear the lore repeats itself the ENTIRE GAME. You will have to read almost identical and uninteresting lore on virtually every interactable item. Everything is drawn out and repeated verbatim. Get this game if you want a hollow boring story told at a snail's pace in lackluster environments with the same three object models throughout

Great game!

This wasn't very impressive to me, but that might be because I've played way too many games like this. I was hoping for something like The Gallery, but Eclipse is a lot less complex (both in terms of puzzles and story) and doesn't make as much use of VR features. On the other hand, the game is short enough that you can play through it entirely and still be able to get a steam refund. So there's that.

Meh. There are a few puzzles and some light "platformer" sections. Decent checkpoint rate. But mostly you just walk or ride along. Bland story is a few (semi-repetitive) text overs on some artifacts. You have no real agency or discovery. Seems like a mobile port? Not up to PC VR levels of gfx, interaction, or length. Smashing artifacts doesn't make sense as a reveal for "secrets" (which are just a few more short cryptic animations?) and seems there just to pad the length and "interactivity". For better puzzlers/platformers mix: ADR1FT (if you stomach the jump-packing), Robinson: The Journey, The Solus Project. For better puzzlers: Myst, The Twilight Path For better platformers: Etherian, Eye of the Temple (if you have the room)

Игра понравилась - графика, сюжет и музыка звёзд с неба не хватают, но выглядит и играется вполне себе неплохо. В конце лабиринта даже взгрустнулось. Пару раз словил баги - один раз застрял в текстурах, когда хотел поисследовать, а что там сверху, а второй раз в самом конце[spoiler], при битве с пророком[/spoiler] - игра подвесила меня в воздухе и при этом ничего не происходило, пришлось снова начинать с последней точки сохранения. Играл в VR версию.

Super nice visuals, story and music! Good job you guys! Something to be proud of!
