Echoes From The Soul

fun metroidvania with a cool premise… a girl’s wedding gets interrupted by a bunch of monsters. The exploration and ability progression feel great, and discovering new paths as you gain powers is really satisfying. It also includes some interesting visual novel elements that add to the story. if you enjoy metroidvania games, this one is definitely worth playing.

A floaty and buggy mess. My demon pet would bug out constantly and wouldnt shoot or fire his laser to break walls. I had to keep exiting the game to get it to unbug. There were a handful of places in the castle map where id just fall through the floor to several layers below me. The map also bugged out quite a bit in the castle. Movement is extremely floaty. My equipped items would unequip themselves sometimes. Also you are supposed to be able to equip 2 badges but I had 5 equipped and functional at one time due to bugs. Skip this and go play Hunter X instead.

You're trying to get married… but then… DEMONS?! That’s basically how Echoes From The Soul starts, and things only get weirder from there. It’s a fun metroidvania with simple and satisfying combat, solid exploration, nice story and really funny dialogue. If you speak Portuguese, play it in Portuguese, as the dialogue feels great. But do yourself a favor and check the boss names in both languages, as they are funny as heck.

Good game with an interesting level design and combat system. Has some minor bugs here and there but the dev has been listening to feedback on discord and I'm sure those will get patched soon 👍

Great game!

I'm enjoying the game so far. There are a few small bugs but nothing too big. I especially enjoyed the first two major boss fights tho they can hit pretty hard so watch out for that xd. Level design's nice too, the movement abilities you get through the game unlock some new areas in older zones.

Um jogo de pequeno porte, mas de grande potencial. Uma boa historia que é bastante ilustrada, com toques de humor, aqui e ali, somado a um gameplay e level design que eu não imaginava que acabaria rendendo tanta satisfação e tempo para completar. Possui espaço para melhorias, mas definitivamente me surpreendeu bastante.

Eu adorei como a história foi se revelando aos poucos e se tornando mais bizarra do que parecia do começo! O PLOT é sensação também! Parabéns ao estúdio!
