cool
The game plays and looks 0% like the trailers or screenshots on the store page, even on max settings. Pros -offline play -functional Cons - The game looks atrocious. Day of Defeat Source (2005) looks better than this and that was a free mod. Max graphics settings and it looks like some poorly made CS 1.6 mod mixed with Return to Castle Wolfenstein (2001). - Game is buggy AF. This is like an early alpha. Tanks will be flipping through the air and any knocked down trees will be spinning around in perpetuum motion whilst suspended in midair like a hamster wheel. - AI is bad. As others have said, the baddies will always instantly lock onto you from over 5km away. 90% of the game was me trying to identify whether that blob in the distance was a rock or a baddie's helmet. I dunno how the boys did it back then but I couldn't see anything through my shiddy Garand's ironsights, and I don't think you're even given scopes. The other 10% of the time the AI would just stand there doing nothing whilst you'd be able to insta-kill them with 1-2 shots. It's like we were all playing Sniper Wars. I think there was a melee button but I don't know how'd you'd ever be able to make it that close to someone to ever use it. - It's really hard to read. Hell Let Loose was tricky to understand, too, but I roughly knew who was on my side due to the languages people spoke and slight uniform variations, and sometimes a faction symbol would show up if you moused over them. I kept shooting my own guys because I couldn't tell who was who. It wasn't til much later that I learnt that baddies will always be on the other side of the horizon and that any soldier bigger than your thumb will be on your team. I could never tell how much health i had. You have an inventory screen but there's no point to it. - It's really buggy. The game crashed a few times on me. - The game is ugly as sin, empty, and the maps are designed badly. Often buildings will have some weird geometry on them which makes corners connect where there should be streets or thoroughfares. All of the rooms you can enter are empty and devoid of any furniture. It's essentially an offline $2 copy of Hell Let Loose, but without the prettier graphics to distract you form the bad game design and premise. I got this for $12 on sale, but I think even this was too much for what's essentially a pre-pre-pre early, experimental, alpha concept build. For the quality of the product, especially considering what's already free or surpassed this decades ago, this should be free. Americas Army (2001) was $0, had better polish and design, and came out almost 30 year ago. How can anyone charge money for something like this? I'd only play this if I wanted to rexperience the frustration of trying to navigate a game like Hell Let Loose and I didn't have an internet connection that day.

中国战场这个模组真的好好玩
very fun like it a lot
This is without question the best WW2 game I have ever played. I've played DLC for Stalingrad and Normandy so far, and they are both 10/10. The missions which come with the base game are also excellent. Just as awesome, the mod scene is pretty great. I've played some missions for Iwo Jima, Okinawa, and Peleliu which depend on the Stalingrad/Normandy DLC and these are also 10/10. I've recommended this game to pretty much everyone who liked early day Battlefield and even the more recent BF5 games. Anyone who appreciates WW2 will like the attention to detail, and how intense the battles feel. There's something about recognizing the same building you've fought for across several missions in Stalingrad. I look forward to the continued life cycle of this game. I love everything about it. The only two items I'd add, one of them a quality of life thing and another a totally new enhancement for future-state road map: Quality of life: I think there could be more training or direction on how to use stationary artillery pieces, particularly how to use the sight to zero in the distance. I like spawning in as artillery crews but feel like I need 3-4 shots to zero it in, often times taking out friendly NPCs. Also, I'm not sure how to go about re-stocking ammo. Enhancement: I'm a sucker for some of the naval elements of early BF1942, I know that would be a completely new mechanic but think that could be an interesting area to explore given the impact it had on Pacific Theater.
挺好玩的,美军阵营的M1加兰德是手感最好的步枪
really good ww2 sim, can play private coop matches with friends easily against bots. the dev team is still doing serious updates to it 5 years on, the DLC has good content for the price. no pay to win mechanics, combined arms combat, large maps, and the bots were improved alot over the last year so its great for offline SP too. This is what battlefield should be.
