Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 13 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Live in a dystopian society where your job is to watch TV to earn money and purchase services to satisfy your needs. Investigate your surroundings and choose whether to be a good citizen—or rebel. But remember: curiosity comes at a high price in this dystopian time management game.
Players take on the role of Class-2 citizens, rewarded with a small apartment and a very simple job:
Watch television.
Receive a paycheck based on the channels you watch,
Spend your money on various services to make life more comfortable.
Investigate hidden objects or stories
Collaborate with the dissidents and rebel

Through daily government broadcasts, citizens will be informed about the evolution of society and receive new items to spend their earnings on. They can enjoy a comfortable existence—or risk breaking the rules and facing the consequences. But who ever said knowledge was free?

Dystopicon is a game inspired by literary classics like 1984, Brave new world, Ubik, and the video game Papers, please. Tells its story through gameplay, written messages, and comic-style sequences.

Very interesting, unsettling game where you will need to follow very specific instructions to live. When you think you dominate the core loop in the game, something will push you to try different things, to find new interactions. The game works like a charm. I played it in the Steam Deck and, even if it does not have controller support, I do not miss it, the combination of touchpad and touchscreen works perfectly.
This game was such a great game. I truly was hooked from the beginning. There are so many things to discover, different paths to take, and even unique careers. Truly a great find! I recommend giving this game a try. <3

I really did not think this game was going to be all that interesting but once I started playing I was genuinely hooked. I looked at my clock and the next thing I knew 5 hours had passed in no time. Highly recommend the aerobics channel for no reason at all.
The game revolves around managing your character's different needs, keeping them healthy, well-fed, comfortable, and entertained. It constantly introduces new mechanics, twists, and surprises that keep the gameplay feeling fresh, all supported by excellent writing. It didn't take me long to realize this is going to be one of those games I'll remember for a long time. The setting is hilarious and unsettling in equal measure. The Trinity—the government that rules this world—has created a system that is genuinely thought-provoking, and the dark humor is consistently clever and well written. Definitely recommended!
Getting paid to watch TV... honestly, it doesn't sound that far into the future. At first, Dystopicon feels like pure dystopian fantasy, but then you start noticing how many things feel strangely familiar: paying for absolutely everything, access to basic necessities being controlled, or whatever is going on in that secret room... *wink*. It's a clever analogy for how citizens can be controlled simply by controlling what they have access to. I even managed to win the lottery! Didn't help much, though. ♥♥♥♥ the Trinity. Justice and Work!
After a few hours under The Trinity, I can already tell this is one of the most memorable indie games I've played this year. It made me laugh, think, and feel genuinely uncomfortable more than once. I never knew what was coming next. Can't wait to see every ending.
Ta weno 👍
This game feels fresh, You experience a rotten society from its core, the lore is really intriging and has a really good and addicitive tycoon mechanic. Its a hidden gem, a must play
