Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 13 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Live in a dystopian society where your job is to watch TV to earn money and purchase services to satisfy your needs. Investigate your surroundings and choose whether to be a good citizen—or rebel. But remember: curiosity comes at a high price in this dystopian time management game.
Players take on the role of Class-2 citizens, rewarded with a small apartment and a very simple job:
Watch television.
Receive a paycheck based on the channels you watch,
Spend your money on various services to make life more comfortable.
Investigate hidden objects or stories
Collaborate with the dissidents and rebel

Through daily government broadcasts, citizens will be informed about the evolution of society and receive new items to spend their earnings on. They can enjoy a comfortable existence—or risk breaking the rules and facing the consequences. But who ever said knowledge was free?

Dystopicon is a game inspired by literary classics like 1984, Brave new world, Ubik, and the video game Papers, please. Tells its story through gameplay, written messages, and comic-style sequences.

Dystopicon surprises you with something new and potentially mad in every playthrough, from hidden details and pieces of its dark, deeply layered story to completely outrageous and unexpected situations.. It's a bold, hilarious, and surprisingly clever experience that hooks you from the very first minutes. The premise of making a living by watching TV while barely struggling to survive in a society under total control... is as absurd as it is unsettling. Its satire of capitalism, media manipulation, and the loss of freedom is seamlessly woven into the gameplay. This is a game that constantly plays with you, pushing you to fight for your life until the very last second while making you wonder what the point of living really is. RECOMMENED !!
Just started playing today and I’m completely hooked! Next thing I knew, two hours had flown by, and I just wanted to keep grinding and see what other crazy twists were coming next. You gotta stay on your toes the whole time and actually pay attention to what you're doing. I thought I was dead/softlocked, but the game hit me with an even more dystopian mode instead!!
Trabajo, justicia y fe.
For me, one of the biggest indie surprises of the year. Its premise is incredibly intriguing: surviving by earning money simply by watching TV. But beneath that lies a far more complex story, one that hides sharp political criticism of an authoritarian system we are, unfortunately, getting closer to every day.
menudo enganche provoca el juego!, tengo el ratón echando humo. Muy entretenido!
Dystopicon has been a great surprise! It seemed like a simple and addictive game, but little by little I’ve discovered the depth of its story and gameplay. I highly recommend this game. Now I can't stop thinking about I'm working for The Trinity. Justice and Work!
