Just buy Dying Light 1, if you're interested. The Beast is nothing more than a rehash of DL1 with some of the good things riddled with ALL the bad things from DL1, and even more bad things the developers somehow came up with to stink up the game. The major change from DL1 is the added stink of Souls-like "boss fights". The developers thought it'd be appropriate for this game to have them, for some reason, with some bosses having 2 or 3 "phases" during their fight. The only problem is that Souls-like games have actually working dodge mechanics, whereas The Beast has a dodge mechanic that works 50% of the time. The other 50% of the time it just doesn't work, no matter what, causing you to get hit or even die from an attack. 4/10

Kyle Crane is back! Dying light the beast is not a direct sequel to Dying light 2, and is a standalone title. You play as Kyle Crane, a stone cold badass from DL1. The game is set in Castor Woods, a town in the alps. The map is immersive and quite small but packed with things to do and explore. The game introduces vehicles you can use, and some of the missions utilize this game mechanic. The parkour is a lot slower than in dying light 2, and feels more similiar to DL1. The game story feels alright, but some of the mechanics are introduced way too late to the game, such as the zombie calming mechanic that Lydia possesses. The ending also feels kind of rushed and could have been better. The game has a lot of different weapons and gadgets, and focuses highly on the "beast mode" and leveling that ability up. The game is a must have for any Dying light Fan, and i will say that it is much better than much of the other new AAA releases. I would give the game a score of 8.5/10.
only 3 hours in so far not bad.

It's basically a less optimised Dying Light 1 with the ability to block and parry. I hated the vertical aspect and the flying in DL2. Here it's much more grounded and mor survival experiance. I like it a lot. Could be better optimised since on High I get mostyl 80 fps but with time they get to 50 and then back to 80.
It has great graphics and answers the ending for Dying Light the Following
