190 hours in, and I'm still not done with it. Dying Light 2 is one of those games that just keeps giving you reasons to stay. The parkour is the real star here — running, flying, and grappling across Villedor never stops feeling good, even hundreds of hours in. Combat has real weight to it, weapons degrade and break like the first DL (even if they dont show it), and the day/night cycle turning the city into a horror show once the sun goes down still gets my heart racing even after all this time. The main story has its ups and downs — some genuinely great character moments mixed with pacing that drags in places — but the world itself carries the game. There's always another rooftop to climb, another GRE facility to loot, another Infected horde to either fight or flee from. Side quests are pretty good, but not all of them hit the same. I also put a good chunk of hours into co-op, and it's a mixed bag — dropping into a friend's world and tackling hordes together is a blast and the parkour syncs up surprisingly well, but I ran into my share of bugs and sync issues (enemies desyncing, progress hiccups, the usual). Worth doing with people you're patient with. About the DLCs, I played through both Bloody Ties and the content added in the Reloaded Edition. Bloody Ties is a fun, self-contained arena-style detour with its own flavor, while the Reloaded content adds some solid extra reasons to keep coming back if you've already cleared the main story or most other activities. Oh yeah right, the Agents system and Tower Raid mode. Uuhhhhhhhhhh, they're... something. If you want to spend 30 hours getting some cool weapons/skins, go ahead (only if you want 🙃). About Tower raid: try it once and see if you'll like; if yes, good for you, you will get bored eventualy anyway thoug; if not, congrats, you saved your hard-earned time :). Shame that the really interesting stuff is gatekeeped behind them but hey, what can we do about it. So, the good: Parkour and traversal are genuinely addictive Combat is punchy and weapon variety keeps things fresh Night gameplay is very tense (although not quite as DL1) Huge amount of content — easily 60/100+ hours if you like exploring Co-op adds a really fun extra layer (when it's working right) The not-so-good: Story pacing is uneven, some questionable writing choices Co-op sync issues and bugs pop up more than I'd like Some (if not all) side content feels repetitive by the late game Good thing DLCs are basically free/implemented in the base game nowadays If you liked the first game, or just want a huge, atmospheric open world built around movement, survival, and NOW some solid DLC content, this one's worth the time investment. Try also playing it with mods and the community maps are decent for passing the time. Recommended.
im the dying light content creator diamond ultra so i definitly have a great understand and a vast amount of knowledge of the game, all i can say is that this game isn't what hardcore dying light 1 fans wanted and i personally don't see this is a great continuation of the first game, however as a stand alone game i find it to be an amazing open world zombie slaying game with some great mechanics and features, its not dying light 2 but is an amazing game on its own

Игра реально хорошая, с красивой графикой и механикой, но что-то мне лично не зашло. 7.5/10
Najlepszy symulator parkouru na rynku i absolutny potwór gameplayowy. Flow biegania po dachach wciąga bez litości, truposze fruwają pod ciosami, a w nocy gra zamienia się w bezkompromisową walkę o przetrwanie. Zero zamulania, sama mięsista akcja i potężna frajda z każdego skoku. Czyste złoto.
It's like everyone says that plays this game... DL2 is a parkour game with zombies while DL1 is a zombie game with parkour. The height of the jumps in this game are ridiculous, and it has very low gravity. Despite these differences to the first game, It's still worth it on a discount.
