DVD Screensaver 2: 30th Anniversary Survivors Edition

Surprisingly entertaining! Loved it!! Especially love the lasers <3

Silly, fun and really addictive! Extremely satisfying when you finally get a really good combination after a few failed runs :)

its a whatever game if you just let it run on auto on the side, but as an actual bullet heaven its kinda doodoo. the key problems i've noticed: 1. a good run requires almost perfect rng. you need both overwhelming firepower and high self sustain or you're cooked. upgrades are either mandatory or completely useless and the useless ones make up the bulk of the pool. 2. every run feels awful if you're unable to get the magnet upgrade and the upgrades that produce more XP. these should just be built in. it's particularly egregious that it requires two upgrades to have the magnet grab both xp and coins. 3. the meta progression system is actually regression. a run with no meta upgrades feels easier than one where you spend all your points. almost none of the upgrades are worth increasing enemy count by 10%.

My main issue is that I CAN'T.LOOK.AWAY.... how am I supposed to leave it running on another monitor when I keep catching myself staring at it? Kudos for managing to replicate the anticipatory feeling of watching the OG logo approach a corner, throughout the game
