A short but interesting story with a twist and an unlockable secret ending.
Gameplay & Settings
A short but well written romantic visual novel featuring a vampire. There are five different endings with three cg’s to collect (with variations). Play the routes through to unlock a secret ending. 🌶️ Spice Level - mild. There are no sexual scenes or nudity, just one sweet kiss. Settings & extras include; display options, skip text options, language, text speed and audio controls. There are plenty of save slots available and you are able to rewind the story. The hud is also able to be hidden.
The Visuals & Audio
The sprites are nicely rendered with hand-crafted art in an anime style. The backgrounds have a cartoonish look but do share the same palette and merge well with the character art. The soundtrack is piano tracks and pleasant, however a bit repetitive. The novel is not voice acted but there are some ambient sounds that add to the atmosphere such as a beating heart, a door knocking or the clanking of a tea cup.
Overall Experience
A very short novel, it took me under an hour to achieve all five endings. I thought the twist in the story was interesting however. A follow-up story would be welcomed based off of the secret ending. For the price of free it is definitely worth the light read.🩸

Please follow our curator page, Otome Lovers, if you'd like to see more reviews like this one! The game is wonderfull, The art is very cute and dynamic in its animation. Its so wonderfull for a first game I really enjoyed it. Highly recommend !!
Great story with a beautiful art style. Short and sweet (well, depending on the ending lol). Loved it! I'd be fine with him corrupting me :)
I wouldn't exactly give the game a negative review, but I wouldn't recommend it either, so it's somewhere in the middle. I was drawn by the cute artstyle and by the summary, and since the game is free I decided to give it a try. The font is terrible to read, it's not the first time I struggled with a similar issue but usually games have an option to toggle the font into something simpler, so I considered just dropping the game, but I was really interested, so I tried to ignore it. The story itself is good, even if a bit abrupt and rushed. There's no buildup at all, and while I do understand why, it still makes the game too fast-paced to fully enjoy. The plot is vague, most points lead to absolutely nowhere (i.e. the mention of "him", the whole situation with the villagers and even the cause of the curse are left open), and I expected more from the true ending, maybe some detailed explanation or more lore. I really enjoyed the artstyle, the premise, and the soundtrack, and I'm sure a lot of work went behind the game, so I'd definitely play other games by the devs, but I was left a bit disappointed by Duskbound.
Cute little free game. Bit short but very fun. I recommend giving this game a try and the art style sound and even the story are all fun and entertaining!
Sonsuz kızıl ay ışığı altında, muhtemelen dengesiz bir vampirle lanetli bir aşka yelken açın...
Short and bittersweet love story with curious twists and turns. Lovely artwork, music, and writing. Each ending truly differed from the other, which can be a rarity with visual novels. Kudos to dev!
Makes me want to get Kidnapped by a Vampire.
