Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
My ONE gripe with this game is that you can't have more than 4 players per skirmish and 3 per campaign. Everything else is just amazing, you can really tell the amount of effort the devs put into the details of this game

说实话,我感觉还不错
The combat is very annoying trying to manage who your attacking in a group is hard it try to have them attack ranged first and they all just attack whatevers closest. combat is make sure you have one more unit then enemy and click there group. like i cant do any strategy at all.
A competently designed strategy game. Game systems feel tightly designed and allow playing out struggle for Arrakis in different forms. For example it is nice how it is possible to assassinate enemies since that was major early plot point in the books, each faction seems sufficiently unique and different though all vie for control through state power - even smugglers. The game represents interesting take on space feudalism where factions might be in middle of shooting war, but still vote on resolutions and trade with each other as landstraat functions as something like space UN where factions come together. Emperor might be the ruler, but every other faction can sufficiently defy sardaukar legions to be in the running for control of Arrakis, and even emperor can be sanctioned for using atomics as they are illegal. There is something funny about fremen taking over CHOAM with profits from smuggled spice and winning that way. Even if CHOAM is the only stock you can buy it is interesting game mechanic as it allows storing value in stocks and if you ever control half of the stock you control whole space travel and win through that. This is a slow build up 4x game, and if you enjoy having to carefully plan expanding your borders and having relatively small scale skirmishes this could be fun. There's exploration mechanics for finding random loot (fallen ornithopters, etc), some research, spying, politics, stock market, base building and war fighting. This game feels repetitive after a while, but it still offers possibilities that I expect multiplayer games could explore (though I haven't tried multiplayer Spice wars yet). It is a well made, but a little slow, strategy game that is easy to enjoy for at least dozen hours as each faction has four different advisors from which you choose only two for each game. You can imagine game designers looking to create alternative strategies for each faction and choices that lock other options out so that players will be tempted to try this game again, and again.
My Arrakis, my Dune
This is probably the closest we'll ever get to a Dune game that's like the movies. Now I'm no hardcore Dune fan...But I love the newer movies, the vibe, and most of all the setting. This game does such a good job at capturing all these things in my opinion. I suggest not playing the game blindly and learn as much as you can before playing the actual game. Trust me its worth the time preparing. It gives you three different modes to play and they are all apart of the movies and they stay true to their descriptions. 1. Skirmish, a medium sized map and a bit faster than normal, 2. The campaign of whatever house you pick, which i would suggest you do first since you get a longer time and its a way bigger map, and 3. The duel, which is your house vs another house of your pick. The game is also multiplayer but I haven't tried that out yet. So far the game is beautiful and the most fun I've ever had with an RTS game. (I haven't played much other RTS games though)
good
luv' me spice 'ate fremen simple as
This week I've spent a lot of time with this and Total War: Warhammer 3. This had been my introduction to this type of strategy game, and when TW beat me to a pulp a couple days ago, returning to this was such a comfort. I'm a huge fan of the Dune mythology anyways (and this game is amazing at holding to the lore set in the books), but honestly, the subtle differences in gameplay between the two series' really seals the deal for me. I'm clearly not an expert, I can't tell you the lasting power this game has for die-hard strategy fans, but this is my gateway drug and hopefully it will be yours, too. The art style is unique (and great!). The sound design is subtle, but helps keep the tension of all your choices high. It's funny because a quick peek and this game looks slow and boring, but I promise it keeps me gripped to my seat for hours (I say outloud "I need to go to the bathroom... just one more turn" far too often). I whole-heartedly recommend!
