Si estás buscando una trama consistente, mejor revisa la caja de otra cosa porque aquí no encontrarás nada parecido. i review games on steam after i 100% complete them! check out my reviews to see all the games i have completed! dumbass drivers! is a 2017 arcade racing game developed by mj lovegrove (their first game according to steam, followed by 2019's 'mr. maze') and published by screen 7. i've now officially completed their first eight games published to steam with the completion of this, with only two more to go in my currently-owned backlog (the aforementioned mr. maze (2019) & lorelai (2019). as for the quality here, it's......not good. i do not recommend this unless you get it in the screen 7 bundle, which i recommend but definitely not because of this game's inclusion.
I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay. After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like. Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends. Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together. Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that. Thank you.

Dumbass Drivers! is a deliberately rough-around-the-edges arcade racing game that embraces chaos, simplicity, and a self-aware sense of humor rather than polish or realism. Developed by Mark J. Lovegrove and published by Screen 7, the game positions itself as a low-cost, lighthearted driving experience designed for players who want quick, uncomplicated fun. From the outset, it makes no attempt to compete with high-budget racers or serious simulations, instead leaning into its absurd title and unpredictable races as its defining personality. The core gameplay revolves around straightforward circuit racing across a selection of unlockable tracks, each designed to introduce its own quirks and hazards. Races are intentionally messy, with AI drivers behaving erratically and often creating pileups that turn simple corners into chaotic obstacles. This unpredictability is central to the game’s identity, as success often depends less on perfect racing lines and more on reacting quickly to sudden crashes, blocked paths, and poorly timed collisions. Nitrous boosts add bursts of speed that can swing a race in your favor, while damage mechanics punish reckless driving just enough to encourage a balance between aggression and control. Beyond standard races, the game includes a handful of mission-style challenges that provide short-term goals and break up the repetition of lap-based competition. These missions add a bit of structure and purpose, giving players something to work toward while unlocking new content. Progression is simple and easy to understand, making the game approachable even for those who don’t usually play racing titles. There’s a casual, almost arcade-cabinet feel to how everything is laid out, reinforcing the idea that this is a game meant to be picked up, enjoyed briefly, and put down without much commitment. Visually, Dumbass Drivers! reflects its indie origins with very basic models, textures, and environments. Cars are chunky and cartoonish, tracks are colorful but sparse, and overall presentation feels more functional than refined. While this lack of polish may be a turn-off for players accustomed to modern graphical standards, it also gives the game a certain charm, as if it were intentionally embracing a retro or hobbyist aesthetic. The visuals never get in the way of gameplay, but they also never elevate it, remaining firmly in the background as a neutral canvas for the action. Sound design follows a similarly modest approach. Engine noises, collisions, and environmental effects do their job without standing out, and the music serves primarily as background accompaniment rather than a defining element of the experience. Humor is conveyed more through the situations that unfold during races than through explicit jokes or dialogue. Watching AI drivers sabotage themselves or get stuck in ridiculous traffic jams often becomes the most entertaining part of a session, especially when those moments unexpectedly hand you a victory. Over time, the game’s limitations become more apparent. With relatively few tracks and a simple gameplay loop, repetition can set in quickly once the novelty wears off. Technical roughness, including occasional stability issues or awkward physics interactions, can also interrupt the flow of play. These issues are not surprising given the game’s scope and price point, but they do reinforce the idea that Dumbass Drivers! works best in short bursts rather than extended play sessions. Ultimately, Dumbass Drivers! succeeds by leaning into what it is rather than what it is not. It’s a small, chaotic arcade racer that prioritizes accessibility and humor over depth and refinement. Players who approach it with modest expectations and an appreciation for scrappy indie projects may find themselves enjoying its unpredictable races and laid-back attitude. While it’s unlikely to leave a lasting impression or become a go-to racing game, it offers a few genuinely fun moments for those willing to embrace its unapologetically dumb charm. Rating: 5/10
I would say it it a bad game but even though i did find joy from this, it reminds me of an old game. goodjob Mark.
I've played this game, so you don't have to. It's cheap, but buying ice cream or bubblegum is a better investment than purchasing this game. There is nothing positive that I can say. Car handling? bad Track layout? Mid at best Optimization? AAA Games released in 2025 run smoother than this AI balance? Either slow or fast as lightning Game mechanics? The damage system makes almost no sense. Now it's time for the big question: is this an asset flip? I'm 100% about some assets like cars - Fantastic Race Car 53/43/7/59 (and others). Textures or environmental objects like grass or barriers are more difficult to give a concrete name, but some assets are very similar to the ones in the game. I'm not sure that this game is an asset flip. Some elements don't seem like assets, such as car handling or the damage mechanic(they're that bad). Still, you shouldn't waste your money on this game.
