About
In the long and repetitive dream,
Quicksand constantly pours down.
The compass of destiny starts to tick.
The two wake up and embark on their separate journeys.
On this shore, you emerged from a perilous situation but were exiled to the harsh North Border, struggling to survive.
On the other shore, you found yourself in a maelstrom of power, striving to escape from a cage woven with conspiracies.
No need to bid farewell.
As time perpetually flows forward,
As the two shores will eventually meet,
You will meet each other one day.

This game could have been so much more. Removing energy systems is a good thing overall but it does not instantly make a good game. Gameplay: The gameplay is honestly alright, I like grindy games. The missions will get repetitive overtime especially because the level design is so bland for the missions and from what I see they have not added any new levels to existing missions just new ways of getting some materials. No gameplay: You will be able to just afk many of the missions by design, I don't really mind this but I do think you should be able to do them much faster or with more rewards if you don't do them afk. Right now you basically do them in the same amount of time and get more or the same amount of rewards as actually doing something. So there is no real motivation to actually play the game. Level requirement: Another issue I have with the grind is that they still limit it behind a level requirement. Let me do higher level missions if I want, let me level characters to max if I want. I should not need to find ways to get levels just to unlock these things. Alright so I can't do the grind I want to do because I can't level up my characters/weapons higher because I need xp. One of the best ways to get xp for levels is doing story. Story: I kind of enjoyed the first zone and the dark aspects of the story were nice. Many parts of the story were a bit too slow though. The second zone I lost all interest in the story, honestly I'm sick of Wuxia themes or Chinese themed areas. I'm pretty sure the story got a lot less dark and the other character is completely ignored. I had to drop the story when it started making me use a vacuum cleaner every few seconds and do dumb memory or look at the wall puzzles even though I could get past the obstacle by just jumping over. Also you do not need to shove in the face the playable characters and make me play as them and experience their abilities, I don't care and you don't even need to sell these characters cause they are free. The second zone story and everything in between was honestly miserable for me. World building could have been better although as I said I did like the first area and much of the main story points there. Movement: As movement is a big part of the game I have to write about this. I can't believe they have not fixed these issues with the movement since launch: Dashing sometimes dashes you backwards even though you are moving forward and sometimes even when you are holding down the W key. This is miserable. I think the momentum is lost, but I remember it being worse for some reason so maybe they fixed this somewhat. Grappling should ether be taken out completely or allow us to grapple anywhere or at least keep the momentum after grappling and not loose all your speed. It is probably the worst movement mechanic in the game. If you are taking inspiration from warframe movement at least make it just as good or comparable. Right now I would say the movement is much worse still. Energy systems still?? So there is no energy system but I need to wait for a weekly timer for boss rewards. Really?? What was the point of taking out energy systems just to put them back. There is also the abyss event that gets the new characters, battle pass, dailies, smithing timers. Limited time events. So you still kind of have fomo. I think they should have at least made the weekly bosses just grindable. Weekly bosses: I just got reminded that the whole weekly boss system is bad. In addition to having a weekly cap on the boss rewards, each boss difficulty has it's own unique reward that you might need. This means you can end up needing to fight a lv 80 boss or a level 40 boss for example for the required rewards. If you are fighting the level 40 boss it is going to be incredibly easy with level 70 characters. As for the level 80 I can't even fight it if I don't have the level. This is criminally bad game design and could have been changed so easily. Graphics: World looks fine. Characters look good. Animations are ok. Monetization: You can still buy materials and characters with real money, so it technically is pay to win as there is a pvp event (why??) (idk I did not do it and never will). Best skins are in a gatcha system that from what I know does not save your progress if the banner changes (bad gatcha) They have to earn money I guess but in my opinion it was a bad strategy to earn mostly with skins. This would be worse for the players but they could have limited inventory space similar to warfrwame or path of exile and allow you to expand it with the premium currency and maybe allow trading of items between players. There probably would be some that would buy the genemons or whatever they are called for paid currency allowing free to play players to grind the game and provide whales with items for premium currency. This would make the monetization strategy more similar to warframes so it might earn a lot more money if the actual game was good and not hacked more than one time and advertised properly (maybe idk I'm not a game designer) Final words: There are probably many things I am forgetting but it is honestly sad that this game has not improved much since release. I have played for around 50 hours total? Idk cause I played it from the launcher and my main level is 59 so I didn't level my characters to 80 yet and could not play the hardest difficulty missions. Give the game a try if it didn't get hacked again, you can sit through or skip the story that you might not find very interesting and want to play a 3d anime game with lots of grind.

my friend told me this is basically anime Warframe, with the upside that he can play it with me on mobile... i was like ehh okey, i love warframe. let's give it a try... now i played this game for like 5 hours, and enjoyed the combat. movement was fine, but more cluncky then warframes, even after like 10 minutes of gameplay, animations are more fluent in warframe. 3 of those 5 hours where spend im story quests that bombared you with cutscenes... you are able to skip them, and i am no story fan, so i skipped though all of them, but only a small part of that. i needed to press and hold space like 10 times in a row. to skip though one bigger cutscene. parts of the story quest i could only walk and jump, no sliding, no bullet jump(or what ever they are called in this game)... why introduce those mechanics when you strip them from me in the first quest i do? in the next quest i did the boss was fire typ but the character i went into the quest with too.... which means i did like way lower damage to the boss then to everything else. it makes sense that the boss was resistanced against fire but i had no clue when i started the quest that this was an oopsie. and i didn't got told before the boss nor had the chance to swap to another character. because of the boss resistance i was in there for like 11 minutes while the boss only tickeld me too. every 35 second or something i was able to press z for my support ability, which gave me a big shield. and the boss needed more time to deal me the 150 dmg or whatevery the support ability gave me that it had cooldown... so i was basically immortal against the boss and could face tank him for the entire 11 minutes. another 1.5 hours here clicking though menus over menus for rewards i don't even know what they are for. and after collecting 20 different rewards, i got new rewards for collecting some of those??? after all of that i wanted to get new weapons to increase my account level. but to be able to get new weapons you have to buy the premission to farm the blueprint in the free side of the cash shop, then farm the blueprint, and then the materials you need for it. why not just tell me where to get the blueprint from? why do i have to pay for that information(with ingame currency, tho)? this unnecersarry step just annoyed me. sometimes, it was easy to follow where you farm what. but other times i had to follow like 5 menus to finally see what i want to farm... also i personally really dislike the fact that there is mode a to farm material a, mode b for material b, c for c and so on. appart from gold there where no overlapping rewards you got form different modes. but ofcourse there was also a mode to farm specifically gold. the missions/dungeons you farm are menus behind menus behind menus to get there and in the overworld, which felt like an open world, but i don't know tbh, there was just walking from a to b to c. WHY?!?! not make the overworld relevant for something more? tbh warframe, even like 11 years ago, was easier to get into. and nowadays it even has proper tutorials for a lot of the esentials. also after like the tutorial i got a pop-up that asked me if i want to continue the story or fast forwad and skip a bit. since i don't care about the story of games, i just want satisfying combat, i said "fast forward". and suddenly i was acutally a higher level then my friend??? PS: not even 40% of played reached day 1 of logins...??
You see the fancy adverts? yeah that's a scam this game feels like it's made by an indie team on a tight budget
So the good. The game is alright and the story is enough to keep you at least amused. Has some twists and isnt just your standard black and white thinking of heroes and damsels. Actually has a little meat to it. So was surprised. Character abilities are well kitted if simple. Some ripped off concepts directly from warframe. Lynn > Mesa. Sybel > Nova ish Then some The First descendent Rips Rhythm > Bunny. What ever, the characters play. Forging isnt bad and theres no cap on the missions you need to farm to gather materials. You can also farm weapons and characters. You can forge and farm demon wedges (mods). Over all a 3 out of 5 for the experience between trial rank 1 to 50ish. Plenty of story and rewards to carry you through about 12 to 20 hrs of game play. HUGE Hint: Do Not Rush THe Story. Do a couple of story missions. Then Grind a couple of characters and a weapon. Look up how to farm Secret letter clues. First couple of characters to grind. Rhythm and Fushu. First weapon Wainewraith. Grind 3 of Rhythm and 3 of Fushu. Before MR... i mean Trial Rank 45. Thank me later. The bad: Combat? There isnt any really. The gun play is crap. The melee is Ok. Its just Skill spam with accessories. Ai is brain dead. bosses are just DPS checks. Modding system sucks for where it was duped from. but their foundry doesnt require 24hrs for base part creation and then 72 more hours for the character to cook. Demon wedges are so grindy. Learn to AFK farm or loose brain cells. The Grind between 55 and 60 to unlock max level... It sucks. The best rewards are locked behind it. The better versions of skills. Even Warframe didnt make that mistake. Though they dont seem to care. You have to unlock nearly everything and give it several introns. Each char unlock 500 TR exp. each intron (farming dupes of characters) 250. Each dup takes 30 thoughts. Each Secret Letter (Relic for Character fragment) costs 10 Secret letter clue. On average 210 thoughts to intron 6. they say 10% chance to drop 10 thoughts. You'll Usually be relying on the pity system per 15 attempts. Thats before you get into Char exp, WEapon Exp, Ascension mats, Demon wedge exp, and Lumino, Game coin and Other Grinds. To be able to do something with that character. So basically they got about 12 hrs of story. then 600 hours of grind before you can get to Trial Rank 60 which prevents your Account advancement to end game loops. Better that they simply lock Characters and Weapons behind Trial Rank. Than to Cap Character advancement behind it. They will learn or they wont and the game will dip hard. 47 to 50 - 60 1 of 5. I havent uninstalled it yet. but spending 6hrs grinding for 40 attempts at something isnt a game loop but its the MAIN loop of this game. If you like brain off and pretty skills and tidies to go boom and giggle. This is the one for you. If not go back to warframe
As someone who's been playing Duet Night Abyss around its release window, but stopped playing it after Fina's Release only to come back now as of 05/09/2026.
I can only really say that whilst I do recommend this game, I can only recommend it as a game that you intend to play in the background.
Duet Night Abyss is an amazing game littered with a lot of issues that whilst the developers are trying to address, my main concern is that it is potentially too late to address these concerns, I like a lot of people believe Duet Night Abyss Released far too soon and was far from ready and this still rings true. As there Zero Beta Test for the No-Gacha Model for its characters and whilst it was an amazing choice to make, the game unfortunately suffered a heavy price for it. A lot of the games systems and mechanics had to be uplifted and or restructured in a sense where an artificial grind to control player progression was put in place, I've played a lot of grindy games, but Duet Night Abyss has been by far one of the most unwelcoming and tedious grinds I've ever seen. Whilst SOME systems have been added to try and alleviate it and more changes are coming in the future, it doesn't really fix the underlying issues this game already face from no beta testing a completely new shift for the games future. Luno Momento's come in such low quantities and are used for skill development and weapon development. Mystic Maze is still the undisputed champion for making Coins. Carmine Globule's are still a very hard item to consistently maintain and create. Essence Gelatin is hard to come by and also requires you to use Luno Coins to Create Track-Shift Modules, 20 per piece, when this material is already insanely hard to come by outside of covert commissions. And my biggest standing issue, is the grind with Gold Demon Wedges which as of 2026, only seems to have gotten worse and significantly more tedious. Some Demon Wedges require 10 of multiple or a single blue demon wedge to create one gold to shift it into another gold, I could go on massive examples, but the most notable is the Wings . Inpso . X sets. You not only need 10 Siren Wing's Inspo PER Demon wedge to max it out, You also need 5 Changeling Demon Wedges, 10 Phoenix's to create set changeling's, but 20 of the Filthoid Tentacles, another material thats in high demand. It can take you nearly an entire day to make ONE gold demon wedge and that is being generous, as depending on your luck this could take you MORE than one day, and chances are you might not even be able to use them cause you NEED track shift modules and need ALL of the tracks to have reductions to have +10 gold Demon Wedges, Not every character needs gold demon wedges some can work with blue and purples to this day, but main DPS's NEED those golds, and supports like Fushu also need them. This is the Artificial Grind that is in place to keep you playing, and keep in mind. I could ramble on about how thick headed the AI companions are, like how AI Rebecca will spawn her summons and then immediately burn her ultimate, completely depleting her sanity, and if you give Fushu a weapon, she'll go on a journey to the middle east and use her summons on herself. There is a LOT of gripes I have that keep an amazing game from being truly amazing, I cannot criticize the costume gacha because I don't really care for it as much as some people. But again, I only recommend you play Duet Night Abyss if you have mental fortitude, patience and nothing better to do, because the end game grind is going to be the part of the game that makes you stop playing like it did me. I hope these issues do get addressed later on or at least minimized to not be as egregiously grindy as it is right now, as I have other games to play and I don't want to dedicate an entire day to just one demon wedge.
After giving this game a try and experiencing the source material, Warframe, I have a pretty mixed opinion about this game. DNA definitely has a ton of potential and I like the formula of a f2p character collector that doesn't have gacha monetization (for the characters). The mc traits tree and the "skill checks" are really interesting concepts and I like how the player choices actually impact the story and character relations somewhat. The creature collecting system is also pretty fun and adds some variation to exploring the overworld. One of the major downsides of the game for me was the optimization of the game. It is extremely easy to accidentally glitch yourself out of the map and every loading screen is much longer than it should be and feels like my pc is fighting to load the next area. I consider myself to have a decent pc so this shouldn't be happening. The new player experience feels like you're being bombarded with menus and new things constantly to the point where it is confusing what matters and what doesn't. The movement of this game obviously takes inspiration from Warframe but executes it in a way that is far inferior. The fact characters can get locked into animations when swinging weapons or using summoning abilities breaks the "fast paced" movement that the game should have. This version of the bullet jump feels like you're not traveling at a fast pace and felt slower than just sprinting. Enemies being able to stun you out of animations often breaks the pace of the combat and makes it feel like more of a action game where you need to think about each ability timing rather than a fast paced hack n slash. Many of the menus are also not explained very well which made the process of figuring out how to acquire characters more confusing. Right now I can't really recommend the game mostly due to the optimization issues but I look forward to seeing the game improve and change the gacha space.
Warframe が暇な時にやる
waaaaaaaaaaay too grindy, its supposed to be a warframe-like, yet they still add gacha mechanics without any way to buy pulls, characters can be obtained for free, you just have to do the cope paste relic formula from warframe but with way less chance to actually get what you want. i did 15 relics, got 6 out of the 30 pieces required to unlock the character. movement is incredibly janky ass well, you know, one of the main things warframe prides itself on.,. just play warframe
