Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A Good survivor type game. It has good progression, a retro look, retro sound, and a great pace. It's surprisingly fun and addictive! Kept me guessing. Just when i thought I had the flow of the game figured out, it surprised me. Reminds me of my Atari days. Well worth the price!
healing system is the worst of any roguelike, healing is a specific upgrade that looks identical to the health cap upgrade and I swear 2 of the 4 times I clicked it, it didn't work.
DUCKLYTE, created and published by LGV, is a compact top-down survival shooter that blends light roguelite progression with fast, arcade-style action. It places the player in control of a small duck navigating a hostile environment where enemies continuously spawn and escalate in intensity. The premise is intentionally simple and slightly whimsical, but the gameplay itself leans more toward tension and reflex-based survival than humor. From the very beginning, the game establishes a clear objective: stay alive as long as possible while adapting to increasingly chaotic conditions. The core loop is built around constant movement and situational awareness. Players traverse a procedurally arranged map while avoiding incoming threats and dealing damage in real time. Controls are responsive and easy to grasp, allowing newcomers to jump in without much friction. However, the simplicity of the mechanics means that depth is limited. Success is largely determined by how well the player can read the battlefield, dodge incoming enemies, and maintain positioning under pressure. There is little in the way of advanced strategy or layered mechanics, which makes the experience accessible but also somewhat repetitive once the initial challenge is understood. Progression during each run is handled through a leveling system that offers randomized upgrades. These enhancements can improve attack strength, movement efficiency, or survivability, giving players the ability to shape their build as the run progresses. While this introduces some variation, the pool of upgrades is relatively small, and many choices begin to feel familiar after repeated playthroughs. Over time, the sense of experimentation diminishes, as players gravitate toward a few effective combinations rather than discovering entirely new approaches. The roguelite framework is present, but it remains fairly shallow compared to more complex entries in the genre. One of the more notable gameplay elements is the occasional rainfall mechanic, which temporarily creates small pools that allow the player to recover health. This adds a brief shift in pacing, encouraging players to reposition and take advantage of these moments of recovery. It introduces a subtle layer of decision-making, as players must weigh the risk of staying in one place against the benefit of healing. While this feature is a welcome addition, it is not substantial enough to significantly alter the overall flow of the game. Enemy design focuses primarily on escalation. As time progresses, the number of enemies increases, and their behavior becomes more aggressive, pushing the player into tighter and more frantic situations. Early encounters feel manageable, but later stages can become overwhelming as the screen fills with movement. This creates moments of intensity where survival depends on quick reactions and precise navigation. However, the variety in enemy types does not expand dramatically, and much of the challenge comes from sheer volume rather than distinct mechanics. This can lead to a sense of repetition, especially during extended sessions. Visually, DUCKLYTE adopts a clean pixel-art style that prioritizes clarity. The character designs are simple but effective, and the duck protagonist adds a touch of personality to the otherwise straightforward presentation. The environment, however, remains fairly static, with limited variation across runs. While this consistency helps maintain readability during chaotic moments, it also reduces the sense of progression or discovery within the game world. The visuals serve their purpose but do not stand out as a defining feature. The audio design is similarly understated. Sound effects provide necessary feedback for actions and enemy interactions, but the overall soundscape is minimal. There is little dynamic change in music or audio intensity as the game progresses, which means that much of the tension relies on gameplay rather than presentation. While functional, the audio does not significantly enhance the experience or leave a lasting impression. One of the game’s strengths lies in its pacing. Sessions are short and easy to restart, making it well-suited for quick bursts of play. The structure encourages players to immediately jump back in after a failed run, aiming to survive longer or improve their performance. This loop works well in the short term, particularly for players who enjoy chasing personal bests. However, without deeper systems or long-term progression, the motivation to continue can fade once the core mechanics have been fully explored. Overall, DUCKLYTE is a straightforward and focused survival shooter that delivers a consistent, easy-to-understand gameplay loop. It succeeds in providing quick, engaging sessions that rely on reflexes and awareness, but it does not offer the depth or variety needed to sustain long-term interest. It is best approached as a casual arcade-style experience rather than a fully developed roguelite. Players looking for a simple, repeatable challenge may find it enjoyable in short bursts, while those seeking more complexity will likely find it lacking. Rating: 5/10
