Duck Duck Goose

I have tried playing this game several times and can not figure out how to do anything or what exactly is going on.

Duck Duck Goose is an abandoned Early Access 2D retro pixel top down PvP arena shooter where you were intended to shoot other players, and everyone looks like ducks with guns. The developer abandoned the game shortly after launch and has left it in a broken state. When trying to launch the game, it just goes to a white screen and hangs. I could go on and on about how 2D retro pixel crap makes gaming worse and how PvP isn't an acceptable substitute for doing the job of a game designer and creating levels/stories/plots/progression etc but it's irrelevant, the developer claims in their early access blurb this isn't even a serious attempt at making a game, it's just an educational project. I'm not sure why someone's amateur educational project needs to be inflicted upon the millions of gamers on Steam. Despite abandoning this, the developer has left it on Steam, polluting the marketplace. It might not seem like a big deal, but this kind of pollution is harmful, it takes up market space that should go to genuine developers who do the right thing. It also makes it harder for gamers to find genuinely made games by serious indie developers.
