About
Dual Combat is a quirky puzzle-action game, where you must defeat an enemy that copies your every move. Are you smart enough to outsmart yourself?

Despite disagreeing on which pancake topping is the best, the Raspberry and Blueberry armies have lived together in peace. That is until the Blueberries' beloved pancake chef is kidnapped! Journey across enemy lines to rescue Chef Lupe and save the Weekend Pancake Brunch from being cancelled.

“For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.” - Some guy named Isaac
In Dual Combat the player controls both soldiers synchronously, meaning that for every action you perform the enemy performs it too. Use this to your advantage as you expose your enemy on the battlefield and knock them out, but watch out - one wrong move and it's game over for you.

Blast, punch, and “block” your way across Nomansland as you conquer various puzzles using unique weapons and objects.

Unlock fun cosmetics as you progress through the game and complete special challenges. You may not always win, but at least you can go down in style! 💅✨

I love the concept of this game!! It feels refreshing amidst a world of gaming that has bosses with various attacks, rolls, counterattacks, what have you :) Not to say this game lacks that, you need to think. It just feels like a calmer puzzle to figure out how to defeat the enemy than say a boss in Elden RIng would lol. The music is fantastic. so even if you're on a level that makes you wanna run, the vibe is so set you stay seated. Even the first level made me think (I'm a genius, I did figure it out). I also really like the voice over, they don't feel overpowering within the dynamic of the game. Overall, I'd recommend! It's quirky, it's fun, and it's worth checking out (especially at its price point, like c'mon). Super excited to see what's created next :)
The game's art-style and story remind me a lot of like Looney Tunes shorts or N64 games like Banjo or Conker. BUT DONT LET IT FOOL YOU, it contains the suffering of dark souls wrapped in 90s nostalgia lmao. The puzzles are intense, one wrong move you die, but ong the challenges give me that same itch when fighting the Nameless King, the one where you get so invested in winning, to finding the best strategy, and getting that rush of ecstasy and adrenaline when you finally declare victory. Idk how the heck they managed that in a game about pancakes, but ngl I'm addicted. Gonna try and get all the achievements. Currently working on the no-death run now. Really curious to see if they add more stuff in the future. TLDR; If you cant handle challenge, don't play it. You'll probably ragequit on level 3. If you like games with strategy or souls-like, worth putting on the list.
