Finally, the greatest schizo game has seen a modern re-release. Drowned God and Riven are probably the peak of point and click puzzle games, in my opinion. Drowned God's atmosphere is phenomenal, and its conspiracy based lore will make you feel like you are discovering something forbidden and insane. There are some very tough puzzles here and with so little explanation given, it makes it okay if you decide check for more info outside of the game. Dont forget to take a look at the extra files that come with this game. The game's original manual has some tips for some puzzles, and there's also a complete walkthrough file in case you stuck. I wish they added some subtitles as a QoL feature, but no cigar. Unfortunately, this "bug free" description is wrong since the majority of bugs from the original version are here. Save often, and keep an actual save file back up on a separate folder. With that in mind, I cant really recommend this version over the abandonware one. I guess one can buy it for convenience reasons or for its extra content, but it doesnt offer anything substancialy better from the original release. I hope we get some actual bug fixes in the future, but I know that this is probably not in the plans. I decided to keep the thumbs up though due to the fact that the game has a reasonable price, and due to its extra content. *If you are a linux user and the game looks small when you launch it, set your display resolution to 640x480 and play it like this. You may see a screen color test screen before the game begins, but you are only missing the company's logo and a small video preview about the game, which is nothing big. Maybe someone will figure it out with protontricks, but for now this is how the cookie crumbles
