It’s pretty unfair to “review” a game that is still in development, so my early thoughts are below. Also, here's a co-op gameplay video where we go over the current features and some more in-depth thoughts on the game. https://youtu.be/NXP_1LRRMPI Dropship Down is fine. I don’t know if there’s any other way to put it. It’s not a bad game, but In its current form, Dropship Down does not do anything worthy of note. It’s a straight-forward wave-based twin-stick shooter and not much more. It's in early access, but from what I’ve played it’s an overall shallow and very narrow experience that holds little promise of becoming more. It handles well, has online co-op, and is cheap, however the lack of content and lack of depth in gameplay gives little reason to throw down your $5 right now.
The video below features non-biased 'first hand' gameplay experience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0WPqx98aUw Many moons ago I use to play an addictive game called 'Robotron' so you can appreciate why I love these style of games.... oooohh the nostalgia! Wow... really had fun playing this while it worked... now I've returned after some weeks not playing it... and its not working anymore... save your money and wait until the Devs/Servers return. So at the current state I can't recommend this game.
Fairly simple game. The enemies have an ok variety and the same with the pick-ups. Only two maps at the moment. The gun audio sounds terrible and the spiders clip through or get stuck on terrain. The game runs badly. I can't get the game to even reach 30, it's not like it's a detailed or pretty game. Also, why if playing on my own and I go to the options menu... does it not pause the game! Oh I'll just change my resolution or detail settings, well that's me dead.
Game is overall very good but it's not for the one who is impatient, I am in love with this game & I recommend it to anyone who is a highscore "hunter", very fun & easy game to learn. I really recommend it & well done with the game! Also made a video on it if you would like to check the game out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJjcr0aneM8
Another abandoned game, stay away.

You wasted my money, you used to work. Why not keep it like it was instead of making it literally unplayable?
