Couldn't even play, the sign up was so buggy, clicking the confirm button reset the sign up process, and it said my ip address was not allowed or supported, even with a vpn, and the terms of service led to: yes, INTERNET EXPLORER. I even downloaded from the website on google, still ip address not allowed. Spend several hours on it, and nothing.

If memory serves, Dragon Nest was originally under another company, but they put out a game breaking update and then couldn't find the backup, everyone lost everything. That is this game's death knell and its legacy. This version is basically one guy's passion and side project. It gets very few actual updates and is basically just some end game raids and cosmetics kept alive out of passion and that it costs penny to keep running with only a single server. But if you somehow can register, it is still getting updates slowly apparently, the animal-girl character just got her third job class sometime in the last few months, so ymmv. I was basically just checking in every so often just for that and I didn't even end up liking it at all, so... Oh well.

So I am not sure how this is sitting at mostly positive as i don't think I have ever seen a more buggy sign up process than this game. It is horrible. Was not able to create an account through the launcher steam opens this game with. Ultimately, only had minor success on their actual web site which allowed to get to the email confirmation portion but the code they sent me, which I used within 30 second of receiving it and directly copied from the email, was apparently wrong. As a result my IP was blocked and I can no longer attempt to create an account. Seriously? Honestly, I am pretty amused at the absurdity of it all. Guess I won't be trying this 13 year old game which I was mildly interested in.

I am glad this game is free because if it were paid for this would be the biggest scam of the century. Every account login attempt requires a CAPTCHA quiz to be completed. I have completed about 1 a minute for the past 45 minutes trying to create then login to my account. Account creation does not work unless done over web browser, despite game launcher having a create account button that leads to create account menu. When on web browser, there are two DragonNest webpages. One starts with sea.(Southeast Asia), the other starts with us.(United States). Both webpages have the same format, same language(my browser did not auto translate anything), and their is no indication if the wrong site was visited, asides from the URL having one character more at the beginning. Cannot create account if Email account is not Gmail, Hotmail, outlook, and Yahoo. Capitalizing a Email account in account creation causes the Email is invalid notification to appear. Creating a password does not have a "view password" button to ensure password is correct. Once account is created and Email confirmed, you are immediately logged off. Logging in again requires Email, password, and CAPTCHA. If Email and password was saved via browser, sorry but it didn't save the dropdown @_____.com part, and for some reason there isn't a dropdown in account login even though there was in account creation. Additionally, capitalizing any part of the Email will lead to error message "Invalid Email Format", which I have never seen anywhere else on the internet... because Emails are not case sensitive. Also, the G in Gmail is capitalized so it doesn't even make sense that it got upset at me for capitalizing that part. Before I was able to log back in again, I got IP banned and am no longer able to attempt logins to the site. Also, not a complaint but just a side note/question: Why was almost every character on the DragonNest webpage home depicted like a child?... Yet many of them had big breasts and one of them even looked pregnant. This is not an exaggeration. Anyways, I am unable to play this game about dragons... although I'm not sure anymore if it's actually about dragons.
