Dragon Essence - Color My World -

A game with beautiful art and an interesting story. However, it's probably too expensive for what it has to offer. It's pretty short and you can get all endings in less than 6-7 hours. That being said, I want to recommend this game because I like Zeiva Inc and want to support them. Also, I truly liked the game and it even made me cry. Here's a list with the pros, the cons and the neutral of this game: Pros: +Beautiful art. +A plot that is at least interesting +Decent soundtrack. Cons: - Pretty short for its price. -Limited romance -No real "happy" ending -The characters, while likable, are not well-developed. Neutral: Little puzzles and riddles, similar to some previous Zeiva Inc games. I personally thought they were a nice addition, but some people might find them pointless as they don't really seem to affect the story much.

期待了接近三年的游戏，首发买了，终于有时间通了两个解决…… 十分失望这个世界观这个设定明明可以有更好的故事，然而剧本完全浪费了设定 被和龙谈恋爱吸引来的玩家例如我怕是都会很失望了

Well this game is illuminating. As the author says, it depends on perspective on the ending you received. I like this game although not as grandeur as Area-X. It is still a nice game. There are characters who remind me of characters of other games like Tian Zhao being Elcia, being sacrificed for the one they care and enjoying life. Chin An feels like the only character who changed in the choices we made, she can either be selfish or selfless whereas in other Zeiva games, it is the characters that react the choices made. I have some personal thoughts on the endings and characters, at first I dislike Tian Zhao for his first impression but I gradually grew on him. He is really like Elcia and I like his character, he is a perfect match for Chin An. Xui Wei is one of the main antagonist I really hate as Fritz the Demon from Attack on Titan and that is saying from someone who mostly don't hate easily. Although his path ending is good as Chin An sacrifice herself to protect her loved ones from the villain. He is also quite an antagonist against Chin An as he purposefuly exploit Chin An weakness that she succumb in the 3rd and 4th ending and especially in 2nd Ending of Xu Wei path. I had a feeling that the story is half truth as this came from his subordinates and they fully believed him even if it is a lie. For Tian Xi, it remind me of Yuras and surprised to be a half dragon human child. As Zeiva games, the 1st ending and side story ending is bittersweet as she achieve balance of staying true to herself and having loved ones with each other. Kind of sad that the good ending story is a dream but one can enjoy (although Train of Afterlife might say dreams are nothing but sugar coated lies). The 2nd ending is ok although sad since she is forced to leave her past behind. (And I am still confused whether she still have total color blindness since encountering Tian Zhao). The 3rd ending, in my opinion, is the worst outcome, it is still good written but it feels like Chin An let her fear take over like Huan Yin did, a cycle repeated and allow Xui Wei words struck her soul. While she did have an adventure with Tian Xi, her dark side had took over. Either way, this game is good. Sure it is not as great as Area-X game but it is still a good game.

Have yet to fully finish this game. But it is a really cute story so far, can't wait to see the whole ending.

Yes, it is the game where the story and the main idea prevails over the fan service. I'm very grateful that my favourite Zeiva prefers to make good stories instead of empty happy endings without any price for them. I'm really sad that the majority of Otome players don't care about the main idea of the game, they just cry about the lack of happy endings, which they can find in almost all commercial Otome games. They don't even care about the character's curcumstance or the plot. I like that indies aren't afraid to experiment with the genre, and I'm happy to see that there is a GOOD tragedy otome game without sugarcoated endings. Thank you very much!

I found this game as a child, when i first played Other Age, the VERY first other age on dressupgamesforgirls, i could only play the demo for Dragon Essence for soooo long and recently remembered these games as a adult, I'm so happy to see this company still around, cranking out the games i loved so much <3

El arte, la música y la historia son muy bellos pero los finales son todos deprimentes. Me decepcioné mucho con este juego porque lo espere por años pero no hay ni un solo final feliz, uno peor que el otro. No lo volvería a jugar.
