Pretty cool text based simulator. If you ever wanted a bite sized version of the dark web without the fear of getting hacked this is it!

The game's a very simple but satisfying drug trading/stock market simulator, with a lot of character, mainly delivered through jokey texts, randomly delivered by people in your character's network. Most of my hours in the game have been spent trying to improve upon my previous run's scores, and competing to try and get as high up on the leaderboard as possible, which feels excitingly achievable, with the current size of the player pool! It's not a game that will blow your mind with its design, but I've found what's here deeply satisfying to comb through, a statistical zen garden that has more than met the value of its low cost!

I really like the gameplay loop this game has. It is addicting and easy to do on the side. LOVE the fact that I can run it along side other steam games on my other screen since the game is small enough. If you guys want something thats funny, addicting, and something to do on the side - PICK THIS GAME UP Cant wait to see what else these devs think of >:)

Don't be misled by other reviews that call this a "drug dealer simulator"; there's next to no drug references or drug culture in this game. You're looking at menus and menus of numbers. You compare numbers to other numbers. This is "Spreadsheet: The Game". And it's glorious. This is a vibe game; you fly by the seat of your pants by the way you "feel" about a set of numbers. Sure, you can set up a spreadsheet and track high and low values, but this game is meant to be played anywhere, anytime, away from your computer. It allows you to play on any device, including your phone, meaning that this Steam game is a great game to play if you want to wean yourself off of Gabe's service. This is asymmetrical gaming at its finest: play it during your commute, go to work, and then recommence your game on your way home, something that likewise works for multiplayer, too. But really, the number one reason to play this game is that this drug dealing simulator serves as a great metaphor for unbridled capitalism. The unchecked growth of the game's drug dealing parallels the infinite profits expected by shareholders. Just as you're free to take chances in the game, so too do the rich who have the resources to gamble with money as a living. "Buy low, sell high" is consequence-free when losing money is barely an inconvenience to you. So play this game if you want to know what it feels like to be as unfettered as the rich. You'll win hundreds of thousands of dollars of in-game cash... and you'll barely feel a thing as you continue to chase the high of exploiting a system for everything its got.

Great little game to sink some hours into, perfect for when you're waiting in long queues and need something to kill the time

Wow...this takes me back to sitting in math class bored out of my mind playing Dope Wars. I picked this up when it was available on Android, and I'm happy to see it works just as well on Steam. It's the perfect game to play while watching streaming videos, or dealing with a friend that won't stop texting. As far as text based games go, this one is a big win!

DopeNet is a stylish game that is reminiscent of the old school text-based social games that I used to play during computer class in middle school. Love the humor in the message that the player receives.
