About
Don't Touch My Potato! is a single-player game combining farming, resource management, tower defense, and direct combat.
The Potatron was supposed to be a revolutionary machine harnessing the unusual energy potential of potatoes. Unfortunately, something went wrong during its first activation, opening a mysterious portal. Now your farm is regularly attacked by zombies and aliens, and the only way to close the gateway is to charge the Potatron with enough potatoes.
Every day is limited by time, so plan your work carefully before evening arrives.
Work the fields, prepare the soil, sow crops, harvest them, and use fertilizer to improve your production. Potatoes are used to charge the Potatron, while other crops provide food for your animals.
Raise sheep, chickens, and cows. Keep them supplied with the right food so they can produce wool, eggs, and milk, then deliver those products to the shop and use your earnings to expand the farm.
Upgrade animal pens and gain access to better machinery, allowing field work to be completed faster or produce larger harvests.
When the day ends, the time pressure is gone and you can prepare your farm for the coming attack.
Build and upgrade defensive towers with different roles and staff them with sheep. Deploy chicken squads, choose where to position your defenders, and prepare the Potatron with shields and temporary upgrades.
What you produce and develop during the day can directly affect the defensive options available to you at night.
When darkness falls, take direct control of the farmer. Move around the farm, shoot enemies, and fight alongside the towers and squads you prepared earlier.
Face a variety of threats, from ordinary zombies and armed aliens to enemies that may take an interest in your crops... or even your animals.
The farmer can fall in battle and return to the fight after a short time. There is one thing you cannot afford to lose, however:
if the Potatron is destroyed, it's game over.
The potatoes you collect gradually increase the Potatron's power and drive the game's main progression.
Reaching new levels expands the available farmland and unlocks additional locations for fields and animal pens, new purchases, upgrades, and more ways to prepare your farm for increasingly dangerous nights.
Expand your farm, increase production, strengthen your defenses, and generate enough energy to undo the mistake that started it all — and close the portal.
