I've known Twisted Doctor since 2016. I've seen his characters long before they changed into these dolll eye variants and instead back when they were apart of the series called Re-Nightmare (which was still going at the time.) I'm going to be honest, as terribly written as re-nightmare was, it did help my enjoyment with these characters a lot. However, once Twisted cancelled Re-Nightmare and heavily changed the designs of the characters, I slowly started to lose interest. That's why I never looked into doll eye when it originally came out. The designs aren't bad, nor is the art style. It's just very not for me. It wasn't then, and it isn't now. Other than that, the art style for the game is fine, though the composition isn't very good in places. The story is breif- this is only a one hour game after all. It follows Alfred, the main character, going theough the daily motions, all on the anniversary of his som's death. Kao, his guardian angel and his friend, follows him around during this. Alfred asks him along to be nice, but Kao also states that he 'kinda needs to be around him a lot'. After a few events, like meeting your daughter and talking to a stranger in the bar about losing a child, you eventually go back home. After a nightmare sequence, you go to the cemetery the next day, where Alfred leans down to morn Shia. End credits. For a chapter one, this isn't bad. I spent just over two hours on this because I was on a call with a friend while I played, but you can run through it in an hour. There is also a scene at the very beginning and a post credits scene at the end that give ideas as to what the next few chapters are going to be. Or, would've been in this case. I grew weary of Twisted about two years or more ago. He had been into some controversies in the past that had seemingly been swept under the rug until just recently he was outed to being weird towards kids over discord messages. Seems like everyone you grow up with turns out to be a weird person, huh? That being said, we are probably not going to get a full game of doll eye. In all honesty, I did enjoy it, as as much as I'd love to give a good rating, alas, we know what the creator did. Oh well. Fun while it lasted.

i enjoyed this game initially but after finding out that the creator is a creep i will not be picking this up again
You've seen the other reviews, the creator does things to minors. The game itself is ok, not anything to write home about. Just a solemn adventure of a dad with dead kid, not really engaging. Not something I'll be crying about separating art from the artist to praise.
Creator is a known groomer and the first question the game asks you is your age 🥀🥀🥀
well made game with many diverse characters, but it seemed very predictable to me. pretty basic storyline, didnt stand out too much. regardless, dont even bother supporting this game since the creators a groomer. not worth it
As others have mentioned, the creator of this game, TWISTED DOCTOR was outed (again, apparently) as a groomer. Knowing this information as well as much other information available in documentations of his actions has cast this game in an unsavory light. As for a review of the game itself, separated from the creator, it's okay. Not anything groundbreaking, but not totally boring, either. The story is okay. The dialogue is okay. The gameplay is okay, if not mildly boring. The art style is pretty cool. The characters are okay. The humor is good enough. The story has just started so it's hard to tell, but I wasn't too invested myself. It's free to play, so there's that. For me personally, I don't think the game is good enough to justify me continuing to support it given what the creator has done. Whether that's a deal breaker for others is obviously up to them.
I liked this series when I was like 13 Creator could have touched me, do not recommend
*little gnome runs by* Whoa guys did you see that was that just a little gnome? Thats crazy oh my god
i used to love this project and still am,, but please do NOT play it,, game art is pretty and all,, so are the characters interesting,, but the creator,, TWISTED-DOCTOR/Sleepykinq has been recognize for being a groomer,, please do not support this game
