Weirdly good writing.

The writing's a bit odd in places so far, but it has a decent story and solid potential. Hopefully I'll be proven right by that as it continues to be developed.

While still in early access, is a very fun and engaging JRPG. The battle mechanics are very easy to follow and very engaging to interact with. The game also isn't one you can just buttom-mash through, there is some legitimate challenge to the battles. The story of the game is also really solid. At first it seems like a simple, "go become a hero" story, but it does a fantastic job delving into what REALLY makes a person a hero. While there are adult scenes present in the game, there is only one moment where you are forced to view a scene, and you can avoid most scenes if you want to. It's very fun to interact with all of the characters and see their different and diverse personalities. All in all, a very good game and I'm very excited to see how this game grows in the future.

I am not really good at writing reviews but for this game I felt I had to. I absolutely love the writing, art and characters. Keep up the good work!

What is currently available is good. The combat is basic turn based battles with a partner of your choosing. The skills and passive trees of the "classes" and weapon types are nice. Generally speaking the art is good, with a few characters/scenes that could use some touching up. The world the dev has made is interesting, as are the party members that you can have interesting conversations with after building trust or affection. At this price point it is worth it, even in Early Access. However. The dev needs an editor. Often times the affection/trust conversations you can have with your party members in camp drag on and on and hit you like a wall of text. While I enjoy the conversations and the lore and world building you can learn from these, they almost read like a student trying to inflate the essay word count. Some of the writing can be very cringe, some of it is humorous, some of it is well thought out. The quality of writing changes too often. Writing is everything in a game like this and I really urge the dev to get an editor that won't pull their punches to reign them in. What is here is good, but it could be better. Also the time between updates is very inconsistent and other reviews have mentioned knowing about this game three years ago.

I loved playing this game. I am looking forward to more and ultimately the finished product. It is a great start to a choices-matter adult-romance fantasy RPG. It is better than anything else I have played of it's kind, even in its beginning stage. I sincerely hope the quality continues, as I want to play the final game, and I thank the Dev(s?) for their hard work.

i come back after every few updates to see the story so its pretty good, tho some of the older artworks need revisiting
