I remember when I bought this game, Just finished school was working on my last school vacation and saw all the youtube trailers (back when youtube use to be interesting) running to my local store I got it and didnt even know steam existed back then. Using my old HP laptop workstation I put the disk in and waited. thinking this would be playable as is. I read on the back of the box that I needed a steam account so off I went and made one (thank goodness I didnt need the disk to play as it is long gone now) and linked everything up. The best decision I ever made. This game was amazing even too date it is still one of the most interesting titles I ever played and easily in my top 10 games of all time. Never in my life have I enjoyed a game and its enviroment as much as this one. yes dishonored 2 and Death of the outsider was great and built up on the mechanics this game made but it didnt feel the same as this one. Might just be the nostalgia talking but the amount of freedom it gave you without having to rely on open world is amazing. How violent you wanted or didnt want to be was your choice. The characters portrayed even basic NPC's seemed like they had their own problems and things that needed to be done. Here I am about to install all 3 of them and play them again as to this day I would recommend this game to anyone. For the story the gameplay and yes even the graphics. This came out when we didnt need to have games be realistic or have the most amazing shadows and skin textures. The art style is one of the reasons this game is amazing. Sure there isnt a new game plus it isnt needed. But there is a ton of reply ability. As well as different endings. I would take this game remastered over any of the old PS2 games. Except (Jak and Daxter series, a true remaster but thats just favourtism talking). To anyone that hasnt played this game get it, It is worth the money as well as worth the time, DLC as well. You will not be sorry or regret playing this.
