Disco Elysium - The Final Cut

As someone with extensive experience wih cRPGs but little to none with narrative-only titles such as Disco Elysium, the quality of this game took me by surprise. The first few hours of gameplay made it hard to like the process of learning what the game's mechanics and setting are about, but once you get a good view of all the elements tied to the story, you notice that it's worth getting immersed into and you start feeling an urge to see it all the way through. I don't consider it a game to obsess over given its low replayability value, but it's still one that I'm glad to have finished and experienced, and I recommend everyone to do so as well.

I haven't witnessed as unique an art style and writing than I had before playing Disco Elysium. This is a game that can make you truly feel, be immersed with the beautifully crafted game world in such a way that makes you stop and take in the scenery, internalize concepts regarding human ethics and culture and make you think. If I had to describe this game to someone who had never played it, I would tell it was as much a novel as it is an art piece. The first hours of playing you are put in the shoes of a detective who has had a temporary memory loss. And you are engulfed in a grand story plot where they discover themselves the same time you figure out who they are. Instead of info dumping like Max Payne where the character is mostly explained via cut-scene basis, you internalize who they are, what their motivations are in a completely organic way. And as they discover themselves the main character gets to interact with their self as well. Enough said. Just buy the damn game and play it. This is, THE indie game. 10/10 21:9 aspect ratio is supported. For 32:9, a perfectly working 32:9 Bepinex plugin is available under the name "Disco Elysium Ultrawide Fix" at NexusMods.

Tiene una buena historia, jugabilidad casi nada pero se entiende, eso si trata de jugar a ratos si no te gusta tanto leer para que te enganches, justo cuando lo termine me entere de sus creadores y lo que le hicieron, si lo hubiera sabido lo pirateaba.
