This game is great. Game play is fun and super addictive and the presentation is really slick and colorful. Give it a try, you definitely will not regret it!

"Digital Janitors" is a rather poor arcadey "desktop sim" where you get popups and other junk on your imaginary desktop. It was an abject failure, as the SteamDB counts below show. What's the game about? Digital Janitors is a simplistic action game with a tired retro art style. Stuck in the mundane role of an IT administrator around the Y2K era, the player confronts hackers who have compromised a company network. Gameplay boils down to the tedious task of sorting files on computers to remove viruses and deal with the hacker menace, offering little depth or engaging action. Yeah, no wonder this failed. It's a popup advertising simulator. Jeez. On the topic of visuals, the weak looking 2D retro assets seem like they'd be more at home in a browser game or a mobile app. 3D graphics accelerators hit the mainstream of PC gaming in the mid 1990's with cards like the ATI Rage and Voodoo3D, there's no excuse for such poor 2D graphics in 2025. That alone is enough to disqualify this for recommendation. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging a laughable $15 USD for this. At least the developer has a vivid imagination. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
