This little game is definitely special. It is super unique, fun, charming and INFURIATING. Its totally worth checking out and of course you can't argue with it being free. Highly Recommend it.
It's quite difficult but enjoyable physics platformer.

It would be fine if you had free camera control and if the camera didn't constantly get stuck behind walls and objects that block your view. Not frustrating if you have patience, just not very fun with those two issues.
I have never left a review of a game before, however I start this knowing and hoping very few people will read it. Not to wax poetically but this game is a bit like life. As I was playing and trying to get up that stupid stair case. I realized sometimes just like in life, we can sometimes only see things from one perspective. It would make things so much simpler if we could just "move the camera" but I think that is the joy of this game, and life. just like in the game sometimes you don't know where that button press will take you. It can either take you to exactly where you want to go, or maybe you will find a present in a chimney. I didn't play much of this game, and quit frankly don't think my heart could take anymore. I just wanted to leave this here for the next person. Maybe someone who thinks to themselves "this game is to hard" or "I want to move the camera" I want to ask you to ask yourself why you want to move the camera, to see where your going? possibly to make it a cake walk of a game? and then I want you to let that go, let the want, the need for control, let it go, and just press the next button. It may not take you where you want to go but hey maybe it will take you where you need to go. and remember always take time and just sit on a bench now and again. after this adventure you may need it.

This game literally changed my life. Ever since this game came out all I can do is play Dialogue Box from the moment I wake up to the moment I fall asleep. Originally I purchased this game to play with my friends but after forcing them to play about five hours in a row they all decided that they have had enough for the day. My intense desire for Dialogue Box wasn't satisfied so I moved on to playing in bed with a controller. After my tenth hour in bed I was still not satisfied but my urge had to wait as I passed out before I could play more. When I wake up I see my controller is at low battery so I plug it in and go straight to playing Dialogue Box. I played with random controls but my urge simply got worse, I figured that I wasn't getting my fill since it was so easy. I decided to change it to only one direction 3 hours I started to get impatient with the box to the point that I was screaming at the top of my lungs telling this box to hurry up. It was around this time that my mother came into my room telling me that I woke her up and that she was taking my PC away so that she can get some sleep. Rage filled my body and without even thinking I punched her directly in her face and starting screaming again as her body dropped to the ground. I took her body and tied it to the bed and gagged her so that when she wakes up she can't open her stupid mouth and tell me to stop playing the most amazing game know as Dialogue Box. When I finally get back to my game my urge is so intense that I decided to start up a game with a VR headset so that I would always be playing. After about five days with myself I started to calm down and I started to realize that life will be okay because I have Dialogue Box and I never have to stop playing. Its in the middle of the sixth day that my mom wakes up and I start to hear her muffled screams and I tell her that she better shut up or I'll never let her go. After that she quiets down but little does she know that I will never let her go, I cannot risk letting her, or anyone for that matter, stop me from playing my game. Its now been ten days and I haven't stopped playing since I woke up that day. I've lost track of how many hours I've played. I haven't left my house and my friends seem to be worried about me because they've called my phone multiple times in the past hour but I don't have time to talk to people who don't love Dialogue Box the way I do. My mother stopped moving two days ago and is starting to smell but I don't care because I have everything I need, Dialogue Box.
very fun mechanic to learn getting the normal finish took me 1 hour and I was genuinely hooked until the end. if you into this type of game I would highly recommend it
Before I played Dialogue Box: The Road Less Traveled, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
