Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut

First game I've platinumed on Steam. Amazing immersive gameplay, story, weapons, stealth mechanics, and side quests. Very stylish cyberpunk world and Jensen is an awesome main character. One of the best immersive sims I've played.

Where I started the franchise, years after its release. Still holds up to near modern games. Very respectable outside its time. Satisfying mechanics. Feels precursor to Cyberpunk in some ways. Also reminiscent of both fallout and dishonored.

Even in 2026 on a high end system performance is abysmal.

Game needs patch, had heavy stutters. Community work-around didn't fix the problem. (Vsync on fast, limiting framerate and other settings tested)

Honestly...just play the game. It is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING. The Themes, Gameplay, Story, Progression is all just chefs kiss.

We got a hostage situation and the building is surrounded with SWAT! He got away and killed the hostage! Who writes this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trash?
