So, as someone who sorta followed the game through some of it's development, I can say that it's fun and that putting it on steam was probably a good decision considering there's more of an audience here than in itch, and since the game essentially runs off of it's online activity, that audience would be necessary. One weird thing though is that even when I was losing matches, my rank was still going up? I don't know if that's intentional but if it isn't then I guess there's something to be looked over. But overall, I appreciate it for what it is.

"Destiny Duel" is a rather poor simplistic Janken (rock paper scissors) "fighting" game with crap pixel "art" used instead of proper graphics. It's unclear if that's because the developers lacked the budget to hire someone who can do graphics properly or they just lacked the skill to do the job right. Anyway, it looks ugly. Shallow gameplay, bad graphics, no players. This is a dead game with no value to gamers. The game was a massive flop and if you have any intention of playing it online, don't bother because there's no players. There are a couple of blatantly obvious fake "friends and family" reviews, and let's face it, when you have to fake reviews for your game, it's already over. This is only free in a rudimentary sense... the developer has their hand out for a "donation" for this as you're expected to buy some extra cosmetic DLC from Steam... digital panhandling. Like the homeless guys who splash dirty water on your windscreen at the traffic lights. No thanks. Even though the base game before donation DLC is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 6 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

Ive been following this game since its inception and I can say without a doubt this is one of MBE's greatest games. This is a game that tests the limits of the human mind. I was playing this game and I felt like I was transcending this plane of existence because of how epic this game was. When I first started this game I would say to my friends "This is where the fun begins" which means that the fun was beginning because I was playing Destiny duel. Give this game a try because it is truly a game of all time.
