impressively clean and smooth while oozing style in every menu and gameplay mechanic. i dont like writing reviews before i'm finished with games, but this is a real winner, play it

"Wiggle the right joystick around in the most creative and crazy ways you can think of without even having the slightest clue of what you're doing" the game. The level design is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane and the OST perfectly accompanies it. There are just too many stimuli for you to get bored 😭. Every stage is unique and the gameplay loop is really fun. Highly recommend it if you like fast-paced games with epic action scenes.

Jet Set Sonic Taxi Absolute banger game holy

I didn't know I needed a game like this. The trick system behaves somewhat like the Skate games in which your right stick movement directly influences your train's aerial movement, so you'll end up tasked with fighting game-esque inputs to do tricks; this system is tuned to be extremely forgiving though and you'll be rewarded for doing literally whatever with the right stick. Now set the rest of the game on a track-switching, rail-grinding, wall-running, tether-swinging rollerocaster. Denshattack does not pull its punches with how frantic the pace can become, and additional stage mechanics learned through the story progression add to the stack of abilities and obstacles, enough that I felt like I was just about at my limit by the time the game established its last gimmick for the tail end of the game. The story is simplistic and charming; your protagonist is essentially Goku if they had train autism instead of fight autism, and as your crew grows in number, more and more characters give you [mostly] encouraging one-liners during the 1-second-long reset screen that happens whenever you fall off course. Additionally, the OST for this game is absurdly stacked with skilled contributors. What do Sonic Mania, Sonic R, Jet Set Radio, Splatoon, Mario Kart, Persona, Ridge Racer, Tekken and Daytona USA all have in common? Core creators for each of these games OSTs have been brought together to give Denshattack its stellar soundtrack. Hideki Naganuma must've been busy working on music for the upcoming Jet Set Radio, because his sound would've fit right in amongst the rest of these greats. My only legitimate complaint is that some slopes combined with the dimensions of some of the trains you can ride can end up obscuring upcoming hazards given the fixed camera angle, but this isn't a frequent issue. If this looks even slightly interesting to you, give the demo a try. Also its only 20$, that's less than it would cost to feed yourself at a sitdown restauraunt.
