It isn't atrociuos, but nothing about it was actually scary. There was a lot of jank too, movement controls, number pads, dying and skipping part of the game, and having to try and throw the vase were all pretty bad.
I approve
☀️
I only recommend it because it is free. Graphics - from 20th century. Controls - from 20th century. It is just a spooky game about nothing. Just to tickle your nerves a little.
Very rough game to play. Creature no-clips through walls. The movement mechanics are very bad, seeing as the index favors the triggers over the joysticks. It registers the triggers, joysticks, and trackpads annoyingly enough. I could grab a the lever outside the house behind the painting without having to complete the puzzle. And the vase doesn't stay in your hand when you grab at the ladder part in the cult room. Making it difficult to figure out how to try and get up the ladder with the vase in hand when you have to throw it up to the top area instead. After some tweaks to things like this and maybe a longer story I could definitely see this as something I'd want to play after, but not in the state it's in currently.
