I can't believe that I finally get a chance to add my own review about this game. It's taken several years but we're here boys lol. I want to start off by saying this game is a gem.✨ It was something different, RAD went for something and dared to be unique and despite the critical reviews and ultimate downfall, they succeeded. Regardless of the longevity of Deformers' online multiplayer functionality, this game has a lot to offer that provides a different kind of gaming experience and certainly has its own charm. From the various different forms, to customization and multiple different classes to choose from, there are many ways to change up your gaming style. The sprays, emotes and taunts are a funny way to give your form that extra bit of uniqueness and honestly not having them makes me sad as there is no way to get them now 😭 Was the game worth it's price? In reality something is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. According to the many complaints and critical reviews the price was a big issue. I can even say for myself that I did not end up getting this game until it went on sale in my local game shop for $15. I probably would not have bought it otherwise (I also didn't know what Deformers was at this time - It was more of an impulse buy). But, I am glad I got it. I immediately loved it, it was nothing like anything I had ever played before. This game truly is a unique experience.I am sad that this game is almost impossible to play now, with your only option being playing over steam remote play. Don't take me wrong, I am very appreciative to have that opportunity now. Though, this game seemed to get a lot of hate, I simply have this to say. Life is a learning experience. Not everything was done right with Deformers, RAD admits their faults and I am sure they continue to apply what they learned in what they plan next. Not everything about this game or how it was executed was perfect, but that's okay. No one is perfect, and this game doesn't need to be because it offered something new and was bold enough to be different. It offered something that hasn't been done time and time again. So, let's appreciate this game for what is was. Simply fun and a bit "Deformed" 😄
