the community was dead on day one due to it's high pricing. I should also note that the only reason I know of this game is because the publishing company, Gametrust Games, happens to be Gamestop's publishing company and was heavily advertised in Gamestop stores, or at least the one I went to the most, and literally nowhere else. It's kind of nice that this game has local multiplayer, but I doubt anyone I know would want to play a poor man's version of Rocket League...
Deformers is multiplayer only and hasn't had an active playerbase for years. It seems like free to play or Early Access would've been a better route for this game.

I have this game for a couple of months now and even after hundreds of attempts to play online, I still haven't found A SINGLE lobby. It's not my internet problem, a friend of mine has the same issues... And the worst part: I tried playing it for too long, so I can't even get my money back. F**k you, Ready At Dawn. This game could be fun but I don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ know, 'cause I've never had the chance to actually play it...
A great game that will be forever haunted by its botched launch
this game is ♥♥♥♥
I really appreciate the time and effort put into creating Deformers. The maps and firearms are realistic in every detail, and the gameplay feels like trench warfare! The game is brutal at times unforgiving, but always tons of fun.
Got this game for my birthday and have nothing but problems with it. the only game i have that gives me such grief. Half the time never loads and crashes when launched. I have never played any matches just played around with making characters and training. What a bummer seemed like a pretty cool game but will never know the taste of playing online, and now its just collecting dust.
This game is fantastic. Lots of people whining about the price with no real quantative feedback. Bought it at launch and absolutely loved it despite the fact that the game had the worst possible support from retailers. It suffered development hell and was hardly promoted properly when it came out meaning very few people heard about it, leading to a lack of community playing it, meaning the dedicated servers got shut down barely a year after it released. Very sad to see, the gameplay has a lot of depth and it wasn't the games fault. If you can, pick it up and give it a chance!
I actually had a fun time with Deformers during the beta, I hope it would be successful. But seeing all of the negative reviews, is just shows that people are experiencing no players in the servers. Which I am sad to see such a great game had to go down this route. And some of the other viewers are complaining about the micro transaction, they had forgotten that Rocket League has micro transaction as well. And yes there should be cross play, because it's virtually like Rocket League. There's no "advantage" between console and PC to this game. I wished that you would at least be diversed with releasing the game on more than just 2 platforms. And I think that $30 is just a good deal for Deformer's price tag at launch, Rocket League was $40 at launch the last time that I had remembered. This game had so much potential that it could actually rival against Rocket League. But sadly it isn't going to be and it never will happen with their current publishers and or devs on this game.
