To be honest, if you are of type who simply don't buy games out of seeing that Mostly Negative reviews, let me tell you that this thumbs down is due to the fact that until and unless you tweak some firewall settings on your system, this game will simply crash at start. And that obviously creates a bad impression among audience with most of them not even trying to tweaking their firewall settings , maybe many don't come with computer background and lot of details and settings overwhelm them but there is a simple guide on steam to do that which hardly takes 2 minutes. Though it sounds unprofessional at first from developer's end, having done so settings tweaking, I absolutely loved the rest of the game. The kind of action-adventure underwater game and hydrophilic people like me are gonna play it till end. Gameplay is somewhat repetitive but story and graphics balance that in a polished way. When I speak of repetitive gameplay, it is combat system because you hardly face more than 3-4 type of enemies except for megadellon Artificial intelligence crabs, you come across few drones that you can control with grappling hook. Overall, I think it is not that bad however many chapters under the act seem redundant that might arise boredom at some point, as they more or less are just sprinkled with shotgunners and SMG shooters ugly looking guys with insect masks. I found this game similar to Hydrophobia: PROPHECY , But that one was a lot better than this. I just want to say there is another level of fun and excitement when you dive into the deepest of the waters with your scuba diving equipment on . And ooh, this comes with a underwater jetpack, a feature unique to this game only . Also, game can be a lot tougher than any third person shooter games. Many a times, the screen is filled with overwhelming number of enemies and a one-man army game will obviously pose a challenge. I think the game will have received a teensy bit positive feedback if for once they have revealed the face of our main player but in the entire game, he wears the same suit with the same scuba dive mask on. Simply worth grabbing if you are a 3rd person fanatic. You are gonna enjoy this game which comes with atleast 8+ hours of singleplayer campaign.

How can I enjoy the game when I cant play it?
i have had this game for four years and it will not play i have tryed to load after it has been install and all i get is a black screen and i keep getting a message uninstall and re install but i have done that hundreds of times
Initialization failed.Resources corrupted or other read data error 需要参照这个 https://steamcommunity.com/app/204760/discussions/0/152392786899558879/ 来解决 整体上来说完全不值这个价格,很像那种简单玩法硬凑时长的设计
I don't think there's enough words capable of describing my hatred towards this game. But I've had to come back to it, it's just what I do best: examining cr#@ptastic games after having suffered through their entirety before. And Deep Black: Reloaded is such a game. A title that could very well belong to a cheap pr0n flick and one I made acquaintance with on both PC and XBOX360 years back, is ultimately one of many Gears knock-offs with a suit that's almost been ripped straight out of Dead Space. But I'm not here to make that nonsensical comparison because for one, that's where their similarities end and two, I wouldn't even dare insulting one of the greatest horror-TPS series by having them stand side by side. Hell, even Gears looks like the second coming of Jesus Christ in contrast to this stale, forgettable garbage. I still can't believe I PAID for it, but what's done is done: it's time to hit the last nail in the coffin of one of the worst, if not THE worst third-person shooters of all time and bury it as deep as only possible. The story is so bloody confusing and uninspired, I can't even think of any other name besides the main character: there is so much name-dropping and technical gibberish, it hurts my head trying to make sense of it all. Don't even bother, you'll never understand what is happening and you shouldn't be attempting to connect the dots, this is primarily a mindless shooter with more than enough stuff to point your gun at. Though "more than enough" is clearly an understatement: the game loves sending waves and waves of the same boring enemy types at you, you'll eventually start questioning your own well-being and why you're inflicting that much harm in form of virtual pain upon yourself. It's extremely repetitive in every sense of the word: the color palette, the level design, the cover placement, EVERYTHING. Now take it and stretch it across 5 seemingly never-ending acts, it's downright insane. Speaking of insane, that's the only difficulty setting I ever played it on and for all the masochists out there: if you always complained about shooters with regenerating health being too easy even on the hardest modes, this right here is made for you! I'm not exaggerating when I'm saying particular parts in the game will truly crush your soul and send you down the spiral of excessive trial & error, but you will keep trying, I know I did. Just remember, every new attempt costs you a chunk of your sanity. Cover mechanics don't actually protect you from the hail of bullets most of the time and not every wall can be used as such: a part of your suit always remains revealed to enemy gunfire and moving even an inch exposes more of your body. The combat roll is a JOKE, there is 0 advantage in using it and it looks just as pathetic. Sprint? Sorry, we ran out of buttons to map sprint to! Shoulder view switching? Pfffft, that sh#@t's for casuals! Only the HARDCORE audience knows to appreciate the broken repetition hell that is our game! Did I mention the boss fights? Do you like crabs? Here, have a bullet-spongy robot-crab! Here, another one! Aaaand another one! Oh boy, is that another boss? You'll never guess it, ANOTHER F#@CKING CRAB!!! You know what, I actually counted them. 8 freaking crabs, they recycle one boss EIGHT TIMES. At this rate, you'd rather go back to fighting the same regular dudes as opposed to losing your patience to yet another bulky, four-legged piece of metal firing undodgeable rockets. Also, why is everything that isn't a sniper-rifle or a grenade-launcher-attachment so terribly underpowered? Pay attention to the pulse-rifle or the shotgun: in your hands, their fire-rate is drastically lower, whereas you see enemies cocking their boomstick like there's no tomorrow, even almost sniping you across the area. That's got to be the strangest weapon-balancing in a game to date and don't even get me started on that pea-shooter sidearm of yours. The shooting sucks, the cover mechanics are half-@ssed, the enemy repertoire is weak, the bosses are ABYSMAL, no variety in mission design or architecture: well, not quite. You do man a turret every now and then or swim through an underwater section, "hacking" bots and opening gates with your special grappling hook that you can't use outside of underwater levels, but the combat there isn't any better, this is where forced auto-aim kicks in and you can't disable it. And what is up with those drones you have to melee by spamming F? There is about the same amount of them as there is boss crabs, except those require 0 skill, it's pure button-mashing. On land, the "stealth" unit is perhaps the most ridiculous out of all: running head-on at the player without even thinking of dodging their shots, only to miserably fail at a melee attempt. It has to be a parody, I refuse to think otherwise. Okay, the campy writing and the awful voice acting can be a fun listen, just like all the over-the-top death screams, but the game doesn't stay in the "so bad it's good"-territory long enough to justify a playthrough. The graphics are obviously not up to par, there is no anti-aliasing and it won't launch unless it's blocked by your Firewall or you're cut off from the internet altogether. But maybe that's just Steam trying to protect you from such an abomination, in which case it's a system I can absolutely get behind. As for my part, I'm done here and I don't want to be confronted with this "thing" ever again.
Game can't be buggy, if it is one big BUG xD
There I finished it. It isn't as bad as most people make it out to be. The biggest issue is your character is way too slow, run animations is just a slow jog. the water movement is better but even that is still too slow. It its true that this is repetitive as it gets when it comes to its bland level design, but honestly this game was so bad it was actually fun. While you are slow and kneecapped in combat the enemies and bosses also have exploits you can use. Basic enemies will slowly move closer to you in gunfights then will run up to you, giving you a easy melee kill. When it comes to the damage sponge enemies managing your weapons and know what to use at what time. And Bosses often cannot kill you if you moved to a part of the map with a overhang, it becomes a constant battle of who can exploit the other. Don't get me wrong this game will really test your patients, because rushing enemies will never work, so often gunfights will last longer than you would think. The last Act is what was left of the enjoyment of the game disappears, as they throw so many enemies at you even more than before, I had to use a trainer for infinite health to finish this out. This game has a story, somewhere, its so boring i didn't care. I would only recommend this for people who enjoy the challenge of beating a hard game (its only hard because you are so weak) by cheesing your way though. yes i took me 9 hours to go through this gauntlet of overwhelming enemies with no cheating until the last act.

HAHAHAHA
