About
Decked Out is a deckbuilding roguelike with real-time combat. Use your cards to unleash powerful spells. Wipe out enemy waves and keep the town safe through the night.
When daylight returns, you can strengthen your build - buy new cards and artifacts at the shop, upgrade your favourites at the blacksmith, and encounter a variety of events around town - all to prepare for the next onslaught.
The longer you last, the stronger your town becomes. Upgraded buildings mean more power, and a higher chance at survival.
Tons of Cards - Mix elemental spells, ranged shots, beast summons, and more to craft your deck
2 Classes - Play as the Wizard or the Ranger and explore completely different playstyles
Artifacts - Acquire powerful artifacts that add modifiers, synergies, and entirely new build paths.
Boss Encounters - Take on challenging bosses that push your deck and strategy to the limit.
Growing Town - Protect your villagers and upgrade buildings as your town expands and thrives. Discover more power as your town grows stronger.
The Blacksmith - Upgrade your cards at the Blacksmith to gain more power
Town Hall Events - Experience random events that offer rewards, twists, and tough decisions each run.

the devs have a proven track record with constant content update to their games i love the careful use of color. the game systems are simple enough and easy to pick up. it has a nice level of complexity and the difficulty level is well tuned. loving it so far. glad i got it
Really fun, and a little addictive in the normal roguelike kind of way. TurtleFox knows what they're doing. Happy to get in on the ground floor for this one.
Hi! I love it and gamelay is very fun :)
What a pleasant surprise.
Extremely fun game by the creators of talented. So enjoyable to create busted builds. As with many of these games the early game is the hard part as you lack mana regen and/or draw speed. If you don't solve those quick your run is pretty much over. Once you get going though there are so many fun builds to put together.
Starts out promising, and given the developer's previous smash hit (Talented) I'm very curious and excited to see where this goes! So far I mostly 100%'ed it, and still finding myself going on a run from time to time. For the price I would 100% recommend it - it's what you'd quintessentially call an indie gem.
Hopefully there will be more exciting updates coming soon, such as changes to difficulty and game modes; the game is truly fun and entertaining.
Honestly a great idea for the game. Most things run smoothly and I really had fun, but it's not a lot of thinking and mostly a lot of spamming while barely looking at what you're aiming at, just dragging mouse back and forth from your cards to the battlefield. - it becomes tedious the further you get into a run and I think that's the main flaw of the game. I think the best way to fix this is just to make the battlefield larger. enemies spawn so close to your Hero that you barely have any time to think and just start throwing cards at the screen, whereas if I had a little more time before enemies was at my hero I would enjoy this title so much more. I played their first game Talented, and I get that the art style is the same, but I would love to have an option to choose between actual colours and the green greyish art style. Those two are my main issues so far, and the art style isn't really that big a deal, it's mainly the tiny battlefield that I think pushes the game towards a very spammy, not so deep game design. Change that / create a new gamemode with extended space and I think you'll have a crazy good game at your hands. Very addicting gameplay, figure out a system to make unlocks not hinder your runs, like an in run ban system or something.
This just hit Early Access and there needs to be more content added and some balance ironed out, but at 4 dollars this is already more than worth the price. In the same way the Final Fantasy 7 took the turn-based ideas of JRPGS and melded them with real-time combat, this game is like an active, real-time Slay the Spire with skills you have to aim. My biggest complaint is once you complete a run or two and know what passives to attach to which cards, there are a few strategies that are too easy to abuse to break a run right now. I think balance and/or a bigger card pool will alleviate this though. Anyway - this game's got the juice. I like it much more than the Vampire Survivors card game and this is half the price, for what that's worth.
