There is no reason to play this game for more than a session. There is nothing more than everything you encounter in one minute. I am glad I didn't pay for the bonus stuff, let along the game being already free.
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.

Warning: In-Game Cash Shop This game is infested with a toxic mobile app style cash shop. You will be prompted to and expected to give money/credit card details to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game goods so you can play the game.
This is a garbage tier platformer shooter arena PvP game with no players, Flash/MS-Paint tier 2D graphics, toxic monetization and no real reason to exist at all. Apart from "Developers wanted money for Flash trash". This is a dead PvP game. Why did "Deceptus" fail? Time for a video game autopsy. Most PvP games on Steam fail. Very few of them ever go viral. This game failed because the developer expected it to become "virally" popular without creating any actual reason or compelling features. This doesn't do anything that other games already do better. The market for PvP games is crowded and the player base is limited. This game never reached "critical mass", didn't "go viral", and didn't offer anything to differentiate itself enough. Even with no upfront cost, it failed to appeal to gamers for several reasons. This game lacks any meaningful solo content. The developer tried to use other players as a substitute for real work like level design and story, gambling that just because their game exists, it's going to magically pull the entire player base of Counter-Strike 2 over to this failure instead. They lost that unwise gamble. A game with no players and no solo content is a dead game. Developers need to stop relying on players as a substitute for real content, just because they feel creating genuine narrative, level design and so on is "too hard". The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. On the important matter of pricing and value for gamers, there's a lot going on here with monetisation, so this really shouldn't be considered a truly free product because of that. This game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. Even after that, you're expected to pay up $5 USD to unlock content through DLC purchases. The game should not be considered completely unlocked until you empty your wallet for the developer. This is misleading and predatory pricing on a product falsely marketed as "free". Even as a free game, this couldn't find an audience. With a peak of only 12 players, it's clear the Steam community took one look and walked away. They literally couldn't pay people to spend time playing this. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.

:)
Cute game both graphically and by gameplay, but zero population (you play only against bots). Characters are interesting and the weapons are fun even if kinda unbalanced, since sniper and laser dominate in all battles. I would love to give it a positive review but the "Don't move or you die" mechanic is so bad it makes the whole game not worth playing. It simply does not add anything to the game other than annoyance, appearing way too often in a match that last 1 minute and even being broken with the respawns as enemies will appear on top of you with an immortality bubble while you can't move or shot them.
