Reaping souls of the dead and punching a clock might get monotonous but it's honest work for a Crow. The job gets lively when your assigned soul is stolen and you must track down a desperate thief to a realm untouched by death - where creatures grow far past their expiry.

This game plays like a spiritual successor, and love letter, to A Link to the Past. It's a great game worth playing.
jeu sympa ayant des donjons rappelant ceux de zelda

Good game, love the soundtrack!
Challenging and Engaging
Death's Door surprised me with just how good it was, and how challenging it was to beat. The world is fun and rewarding to explore with tons of secrets, some of which are very well hidden considering I did a lot of exploring and didn't even find enough shrines to upgrade either my health or magic during my playthrough. The levels are well designed and combat is very fun with some very well designed bosses that were challenging and rewarding to defeat. Death's Door is a very good game that goes on sale for ridiculously cheap for how good it is, and even at its base price is well worth your time.
Story
The story of Death's Door was surprisingly deep and full of lore and great characters. You play as a crow who's job is to be a reaper, someone who goes out, kills a target, and returns its soul. Well when something goes wrong you're forced to go out and finish your job which turns into a whole quest. The story was much better than I was expecting, with some really interesting themes about death and the role it plays in life. Each of the characters you encounter have their perspective on it and I'd be lying if I said I didn't get really invested in it. There's tons of lore to discover if you're into that, and the whole world the game takes place in is really interesting.
Level Design
The game's levels are similar to a Zelda game I think, with the different areas acting as dungeons you have to explore and solve puzzles in. Each level is really fun to explore but the lack of a map makes it easy to get lost in. While exploring you'll have to face enemies and horde encounters. These do a great job of breaking up the exploration and often open up shortcuts to checkpoints. You also unlock different abilities that open up new areas in previous levels, encouraging back tracking to get more upgrades. Overall, Death's Door is full of really solid levels that are perfectly sized I think.
Combat
The thing that really separates Death's Door from other games in my opinion is how great combat is. There's a ton of enemy variety and the horde encounters can be genuinely challenging. You have a standard, and heavy attack, as well as ranged abilities and a dodge. It honestly feels like a souls game at times, dodging through attacks to get behind enemies and trying to juggle the larger encounters. The boss selection is also really good. The main levels all end with solid boss fights that are the perfect level of challenging, with different mechanics and patterns to learn. Then comes the end game where the game basically turns into a boss rush. These bosses take everything you learned in the game and push you to master it. Maybe it was just because I hadn't found the health upgrades, but I felt like in order for me to finally beat each of these bosses I truly mastered them, knowing their move sets inside and out, and knowing every opening I had as well as how to maximize my ranged abilities. These boss fights are what turned a good game into a great game for me. There was some slight visibility issues on the final boss for me, since your black character is in a grey world with lots of attacks, but this was a minor issue for me.
Conclusion
In conclusion Death's Door had everything I wanted, from great level design that rewards exploration in a world full of secrets, to a good story, to some truly memorable and satisfying boss fights that will stick with me the same way some Fromsoft bosses do I think. Death's Door is a great game and I highly recommend it. For more reviews, follow my curator page.
A really well designed game.
除了没有小地图会比较绕就真没缺点了
exellent zelda like
