Absolutely loved this game! Death and Taxes is one of those games that surprised me with how much it made me think. The story is fantastic, the writing is clever, and underneath its simple gameplay there’s a surprisingly deep philosophical side. Every decision feels meaningful, and I loved the way the game makes you question morality, fate, responsibility, and what it really means to decide someone’s destiny. The atmosphere, humor, characters, and overall style are fantastic. I honestly loved everything about it! A small game with a big soul. Highly recommended!

游戏看着评分很高，宣称什么班味官僚主义，实际玩起来没有什么挣扎或思辨，很快就因为我只按自己的意愿杀人而被开除了，其他结局我甚至懒得探索。中国有一部很有名的电视剧叫《第八号当铺》，这才给我死神感。 The game boasts high ratings and markets itself as a sharp satire of bureaucratic drudgery and red tape, yet there’s little genuine inner conflict or philosophical depth to its gameplay. I got fired almost immediately just for ordering executions based solely on my own whims, and I can’t even be bothered to unlock its other endings.

Such a nice, fun mundane game when I am looking to just kill time and not think too much. Alternative endings make it replayable. Got it for less than 2 bucks, how do you beat that?
