WTF? A second one already? Nah.
Finger weg!
One of the few developers that actually makes a good game not only for money but for passion.
I've really sat and thought about the price point of the game vs the 27 hours I put into it which saw most of the content and still sit here thinking a negative review and not touching the sequel is warranted. When the sequel was announced I honestly didn't think the game was out of Early Access yet. A new game within a year of release of this game in it's current state just feels unfinished, unpolished and a grab for money vs meaningful updates.
Game is not even a year old and still needs bug fixes and we're announcing a sequel? Don't buy anything from this company, this isn't the first time they've done this.
Abandonware.
Deadzone: Rogue is pure joy for any roguelike addict.
I have not been hooked on a game like this in a very long time. The developers really nailed the core mechanics, and the overall gameplay and pacing are just awesome to experience. Pros: -Addictive Gameplay: The pacing keeps you constantly engaged and makes it hard to put down. -Satisfying Combat: The gunplay is fantastic, and the different elemental effects add a great layer of depth to your loadouts. -Engaging Story: Surprisingly, the lore and narrative are genuinely interesting! -Great Audio & Humor: The main character's voice acting is excellent, and the jokes and gimmicks land perfectly without feeling forced or repetitive. -Smooth Performance: On a technical note, the game runs wonderfully. Performance-wise, the optimization is great and very stable. -Co-op Fun: It is a blast solo, but it shines even brighter if you have friends to squad up with. Room for Improvement: - Map Variety: The environments could use a bit more diversity, particularly when it comes to long-range gunplay. -Tight Corridors: Because many maps feature narrow, cramped spaces, aiming down your scope (ADS) feels a bit clunky and difficult to maneuver effectively. -Need for Space: Introducing some larger, more open areas would balance out the close-quarters combat nicely. -Movement Mechanics: The game would benefit hugely from some advanced movement options, such as a slide mechanic, to make dodging and traversing feel much more fluid.
Final Notes
Despite a few minor gripes about the map layouts and movement options, this game is absolutely fantastic. If you are a fan of the genre or just looking for a highly enjoyable shooter, you need to check this out.
Rating: 9/10 (Highly recommended!)
1년도 안되서 2는 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 말이 정식 출시지 그냥 유기 선언이나 다를 바 없음
finish the first game first dumbass
Was ok, played for a bit and was hopeful things would improve as development went on... Just kidding, they're abandoning this entirely to make you buy it again as the same game with a "2" on the end. Unless this idiocy is reversed, or the second one is free for those who own the first one, steer clear of these developers... Gameplay is, at its current UNFINISHED state- (Reminding the devs this game isn't done because they seem to have forgotten in their greed)- pretty cookie cutter. Search "rougelite" and blindly buy another game and it'll probably have more memorable mechanics than here. You have elementally chargeable weapons that increase in level as you play, and enemies to kill. Oh and perks. So yeah, it is one of the rougelites of all time. If this game were a color, it would be whatever the average color of every roguelite game title card is. If this were a student project, I would give them a C+ (environment design is pretty good honestly). Nothing to write home about, but not bad overall. At least until you factor in that the devs released this on AUGUST 11th 2025 and within about 9 months they're abandoning this game because they think it's complete or too difficult to move forward. (IDK, read the announcement, it'll tick you off too.) So either the devs have forgotten you can work on a game longer than the average human pregnancy, or all of their games will come with the expectation that you buy them again by the 9 month mark..
