Nice game, the story intrigues us. I realy enjoyned!! In the begin camera angles are a little confusing, but becomes amazing while playing, because you need to figure out how to move to escape from enemies.
It's a pass for me. It's clear this was turned around in a very short time as it's fairly unpolished. This feels very much like a proof of concept. It's very standard survival horror, but even at hard difficulty there's not much challenge. If you die you can resurrect instantly with full ammo and health restored. The only downside is all the enemies are resurrected as well. So you roam around, shooting shambling horrors, often many times over, until you can achieve your current objective in one life. 2 shots from pistols puts them down or one from the rifle that you can find. It's all pretty generic. The game comes with standard 90's-style horror game controls which will be either a pro or con depending on the audience. Even at the low asking price I think it makes sense to wait for a bigger effort from this developer.
If you are buying this, you know what you're getting yourself into. It has Fixed Cameras, it's $0.99, and it was a slightly revised version of a game created originally in like half of a month. That being said it's a pretty enjoyable little 30 minute play. I generally buy these games to support the devs in order to encourage people to make more of these types of games, but i enjoyed it. Controls are responsive, although doing multiple inputs can cause you to have to lift off the turn key and press it again. Visuals are exactly what you'd expect Colors only no textures, surprisingly the scientists all have different heads so there's actually a decent amount of variety with that.. Sound is one of the more enjoyable parts, the characters make these funny little noises when you interact with them and the ambient song is actually not bad. The credits tune is really out of place but it is fun and a good way to end it. The combat is very barebones (to be expected) but there is some technique to it, and the final boss is pretty enjoyable as well. Most of the game is hunting for your colleagues and navigating the Building. It does switch it up half way through with some tougher enemies, but it doesn't feel too different from the first part. Again you should know what you're getting yourself into if you decide to purchase this game, it's a Game Jam Survival Horror Game with Fixed camera angles, embrace the Jank and enjoy the bits of humor in it and you'll get your $0.99 worth.
This game is a good example that a minimalistic game can still be fun and engaging! Wonderful work, especially for a team of two devs from home, if I got that correct. Would like to see more ;)
Its cool, its a bit tricky sometimes
