Dead Space

The game feels pretty repetitive: “Go fix the engine, now this is broken, go fix that.” The enemy variety is also lacking, and most puzzles boil down to “take this and place it there.” I believe this game was great in 2008, when its dismemberment mechanic felt revolutionary, but for a 2023 game, that alone isn’t enough to build an entire game around.

I'm a HUUUGE Dead Space enthusiast. This game is fun and looks great, although Isaac talking and the storyline does it no favors. Skip the cutscenes if u can. Honestly I'd say this game is much easier than the original Dead Space--which is unequivocally better. Still, if you love Dead Space this is a must-have.
