Dead Island 2

I suck at this game! Oof - I wanted to like this game SO much - loved Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide, I was ready to love this too! I sadly could not. The game gave me horrific motion sickness (which I did fix by reducing the graphics levels), but that wasn't enough to keep me from playing. What did stop me playing was that this game is just too hard for me. Nothing wrong with the game, I suppose - I just suck at it? Perfectly happy to leave it at that and play something else. Would I recommend the game? Yes, I think. I suck at War Thunder and I have played that a lot - and have recommended it to anyone who seemed even remotely interested in getting zapped in a tank. Dead Island 2 has lovely graphics and it sure feels like more of the special sauce of the first two games - but for me, it's just too hard - like, got killed about 10 times in the same driveway levels of hard. Overall, I'd say it seems to realistically show you how horrendous a zombie outbreak would be - you will die horribly and at close-quarters. Left 4 Dead, or even the hack and slash that you slogged through in the first two Dead Island games, this is not! But if you want to play a zombie outbreak game that's so hard it makes the base of your spine tingle in frustration then this one's for you. God speed!
