Got it from a sale and had a lot more fun with it than I thought I would. Especially recommended for a co-op game with a friend. Good times!

ZOMBIES ARE TAKING OVER!!!! KILL THEM ALL!!!!
after six hours of hack and slash i've enjoyed the zombie dismemberment and give props to the dev team
Sometimes this game frustrates me, yet at times it is beautiful and engaging; I find myself curiously exploring every lovingly recreated corner of legendary locations I’ll likely never visit in real life—certainly not in the company of zombies. However, repetitive design choices stifle my interest. You don’t expect miracles from the script, but it could have been more polished—especially given the AI tools available today. Yet that’s not the main issue: the game mechanics are implemented in a clumsy, primitive way. Whether it’s a result of a purely commercial mindset or sheer carelessness, it mars what is otherwise a fantastic game. There is essentially no character progression, while weapon upgrading—which happens constantly at every workbench—has become a tedious chore, as weapons become obsolete so quickly. The music is a total failure; I play with Spotify running in the background instead. There is a wide variety of enemies, and plenty of them. The decision to send players back to old locations just for loot boxes is highly questionable. The lore, conveyed through in-game text, is very weak. Still, despite the flaws, I want to see the game through to the end.
