Solo it's a decent zombie brawler. With two friends it's one of the best co-op games I've played in years. The gore system carries the whole thing. Every hit tears, breaks or removes something, and weapons degrade fast enough that you're constantly improvising with fire, electricity and whatever you last duct taped acid onto. In a group that turns into instant chemistry: one on crowd control, one on heavy hits, one panicking in the middle. Story is thin, bosses are weak, builds are shallow. Didn't matter. We kept playing way past the point where we'd normally have stopped. Grab it on sale, grab two friends, turn your brain off.
