This was a very short on rails shooter. Its pretty basic. If you're getting it for a young child, its a great game, pretty easy. As an adult... wow it was like the easiest on rails shooter i've ever played. I didn't die once. Anyway. I didn't watch the DC League of Superpets movie this was based off of, so I don't know much about the characters, but from what I gather you can play as Batman's dog or Krypto, Superman's dog. (Don't remember the bat-dog's name, honestly don't care). You also get power ups based on the other superheroes, a squirrel that is a Green Lantern somehow, Flash's pet turtle (wat), and Wonder Woman's PIG!? I only played the whole game as Batman's dog with the Green Lantern powerup because i thought Kryptos laser eyes weren't as good as the dog's batarangs, and the Green Lantern's ability to hit everything on screen far outweighed Flash Turtle's speed buff or Wonder Pig's damage shield. The plot also was almost non existent. Lex Luthor was building robots to fight the pets for some reason, I guess he doesn't have anything better to do with his billions of dollars. Just realized its in the title of the game... The bat-dog's name is Ace. I'm dumb.

It's just a childrens game but it is fun if you like this kind of gameplay :)
Dog Version of Superman and Batman (with Wonderpig as a NPC). I wouldn’t touch this game if not for the delisting notification. It's a simple rail shooter where you play as either Superdog or Batdog: Shoot down bots, do QTEs, dodge lasers and obstacles. Since the route is fixed, there’s no exploration, just repetitive map and gameplay throughout the game. The final boss doesn’t offer anything exciting either, and there are almost no cutscenes at the end. I managed to finish the game in about 1.5 hours, using only Batdog as clearly he's more powerful. Btw, I play on keyboard and can't pass the dodge bullets training at the very beginning. I had to switch to a controller to pass. Don’t expect anything creative in this game. I wouldn't recommend paying $39.99 but this might be the last chance to get it. My curator page
~3 hours to 100%, not that engaging, little story, the gameplay never changes. It's an on-rails shooter that isn't very difficult.
Got this game in a Humble Bundle for about £0.70. At the time of posting this game is £34.99 The game is a on rail shooter with some quick time events , It features two playable characters which aren't too different from each other and a side companion ( You never see them in game it's just a ability you can use which are also pointless because the game is so easy) It has 15 main levels and some side missions all of which pose no real challenge. The game takes 2 hours to complete and the maps are all pretty much the same with very little details.
This game is perfect for conditioning our youth to destroy the evil robot menace that will soon be unleashed upon the earth thanks to AI. Well now that I got that out of my system... Why does the heavy attack obscure the firing reticle; and seem weaker than normal attack until the end of the game? Why do I seem to get randomly pulled into buildings\enemies\lasers and damaged? Why does Esc need to be HELD at random in order to keep the game paused? Why did the game not even work until I added a string into steam in order to force it to launch windowed? If anyone else finds they have to force the game to launch windowed remember you can just Alt+Enter to maximize the game. Once maximized I was happy to see this game supports 4k resolution via the options. This is a decently fun rail shooter if you like those types of games and\or the idea of superpets. The bosses, shield enemies, and plasma ring enemies being the hardest asks for small children. I'd suggest playing as Krypto the whole time unless you wish to hear Kevin Hart do voiceover quips the whole time. Nothing against the man I just don't relate him the Ace at all. Perhaps it worked better in the movie which I assume is the "source material" for this game. This game may be worth it for some in the 3-5 dollar range on sale; I got it in a bundle.
For it's target audience, is decent if you get it on a sale
