Daydream Mosaics 6: Empire - Collector's Edition

This is a truly gorgeous game and the most content ever for one of the DayDream Mosaics series. I beta tested a while back and haven't played since, but I want to say there are 200 nonogram levels, with the grids being about 15-20 squares per side. There are several different difficulty levels to choose from, and quite a few customization options for the game interface. Plenty more minigames than earlier installments, but all the minigames were de-linked from the main game except for a blurb about the M3 minigame, so you have to know to go to the bonus games menus to find all the extras. There are jigsaw puzzles, spot the differences, HOS, clutter games, and the M3 minigame. I personally couldn't stand the M3 game with the concept of the cat eventually getting too fat and causing a forfeit. And the game is designed to get you sooner or later no matter what. The storyline is a continuation of the serialized story which began in DDM2. However, with DDM6 being available in both a collector's and a standard edition, the story chapters look a bit wonky with how they unlock in the Story button to accommodate the shorter content in the SE. The Steam version is the CE. Difficulty isn't too taxing for a nonogram game. It's not as tough as DDM4 was, but not super easy like a good part of DDM5 was. I wish the developer had gotten this out at Steam sooner, but better late than never! If you enjoy nonogram games on a more casual level i.e. not brain frying hard, much recommended.
