Darwin’s Demons is an arcade style space shooter in which you battle a population of evolving aliens. The alien’s morphology, fire type, and behaviors are all encoded by a digital genome. The aliens that are best able to shoot or evade you reproduce to make the next generation.

clever ! challenging great reflections to be exchange over the mechanics thanks
If the small handful of remaining bugs were fixed.. this game would be amazing. It adapts to each player over the course of several rounds to specifically try and **** YOUR PERSONAL PERFORMANCE into the ground. I love it... The game has potential. It does. For what it is.. it's pretty amazing... The game is all about evolution and recent contact from the devs on 5/2/2018 says they are trying to see this project through. I eagerly await the release of their next effort, Project Hastur. Think Darwin's Demons... as tower defense. <3

I love this little thing. It's so good at kicking my ass but I love it.
Linux gaming sure isn't what it was back when I first started gaming on LInux back in 1999. Nowadays, there are tons of options for LInux users that are equivalent to WIndows PC offerings. This title is functionally identical on my WIndows and LInux machines with no performance issues or extra steps for configuring on the LInux version. This game takes the Space Invaders formula and expands it significantly, adding all sorts of biometrics, statistics, evolving creatures, lore, special weapons and other items, and more. The controls are responsive and every death was a result of my own lack of skill moreso than control issues. THe evolution mechanic works surprisingly well, with my many attempts to cheese it ultimately failing. I figured I could just focus on the problematic creatures to cause them to not evolve into subsequent generations, but this more often resulted in more deaths to me and even more of the bastard enemies. Highly recommended in its LInux iteration. One of our group members will post a more in-depth review for WIndows in the near future. Even if this were to be a $19.99 title, it would still get a recommend from me. TOp tier title!
I'm not sure I could say anything about this game that has not already been said. This game is a great test of skill because, as the name gives away, the Protean swarm evolves every generation.
Very epic also i saw a poster for another game you guys made here in Moscow. I like the AI
