Challenging but in a nice way
As soon as it was announced I was immediately excited for the sequel to one of my favourite indie games of all time, and this demo did not dissapoint. For people like me who were a little worried the feel of the original would be lost between releases that is not the case. The graphics, sounds, and overall vibe feel like a very natural evolution from the first installment. As this is just a demo I don't have a whole lot to say about the game as of yet, but if you liked the first one you'll absolutely love what this one is looking to become.
It's giving souls-like despite not having any combat at all (except at the end, technically?). The ball feels weighty, the movement is simple and clean, and you will probably have pressed the "R" button more times than you can count by the time you finish the demo. Give it a try if you like souls-likes but are tired of being impaled by swords and would rather be tortured by physics.

I played it on the Steam Deck, and it runs great there. I really enjoyed playing this game. It has great graphics, nice gameplay, and an interesting atmosphere. The controls are smooth and easy to learn, making the experience enjoyable from the beginning. The game offers a good balance between challenge and fun. Overall, it's a well-made game that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great gaming experience. <3 What impressed me the most is that this game was created by a single developer. I'm honestly amazed by the amount of work, creativity, and dedication that went into making it. It's incredible to see such a polished and enjoyable game made by one person. Huge respect to the developer, and I can't wait to see what they create next!
